Where do you recommend buying bitcoin?

I've got Gemini, but I'd that a good one? It looks like it has a heavy convenience fee. There's also ledgerX is that a good option?

As an aside, when do I owe capital gains taxes is it whenever I move bitcoin between exchanges and other types of crypto? If I get a crypto card for making payments then what happens? I'm a UsS citizen

Need your professional advice!!! In early 2018, I wanted to get into bitcoin and made some questionable purchases. I could use some advice and/or good resources to help guide me on what to sell/buy/hold/etc! Below is my current portfolio on a spreadsheet. Thank you for your time and help in advance.

NAME SHARES VALUE BOUGHT @ NOTE:
    BINANCE EQUITY .08337 $2426.00
    roughly early 2018
    TRX(TRON) 7,343 $196.65 7,000 shares @ .05 = $350 how did shares go up?
    XVG(VERGE) 4,995 $37.80 5,000 shares @ .07 = $350 how did shares go down?
    BTT(bitTORRENT) 1,835.27 $.52 no record of buying
    WIN(WINK) 1,552.93 $.09 no record of buying
    XRP(RIPPLE) 1,220 $285.69 1000 shares @ .89 = $890 how did shares go down?
    ADA(CARDANO) 647.35 $113.05 648 shares @ .26 = $169
    JST(JUST) 18.49 $.41 no record of buying
    LSK(LISK) 15 $17.35 15 shares @ 11.28 = $170
    BTC(BITCOIN) .0609 $1,774.81
    LITECOIN 12.4 $1,560 originally invested $2000

Looks like across the board I made some bad investments. It's time to understand the game anbd play it better. Shares went up or down for certain purchases, how does this occur? I have no record of buying some coins/tokens, did a previous coin get bought out or something? This is all under Binance and litecoin is under Coinbase. A tutorial on Binance would be greatly appreciated as well soon it looks like it has been upgraded. Once again, thank you for your time and I am excited to learn.

Bitcoin Exchange/App That Offers Weekly Autobuys With The Least Fees

    Posted: 01 Jan 2021 04:19 PM PST

I'm asking for a friend that isn't tech savvy and wants to start accumulating btc through weekly DCA buys. I suggested Gemini since i've used them in the past and know that they had the autobuy feature. However, he is having some issues verifying his account. What do you guys recommend for a platform were he could setup autobuys with the lest amount of fees.
