| Thoughts on interview with John Deaton? Posted: 03 Jan 2021 09:38 PM PST I was very impressed with John Deaton's interview with On The Chain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcPto1dOEfI). He seems like a genuine person and brings some hard hitting facts. I also liked that he referenced Ripple/XRP supporters on Twitter and Youtube that helped build the case for his suit. We are a community, and in my opinion John is an absolute superstar to file a suit against the SEC based on his own strong convictions (that many of us share). Posted: 03 Jan 2021 07:46 AM PST I can't believe how much harm has been done to investors by the SEC, the very entity that is supposed to protect them! I've had this happen before. I had an investment in this really successful hedge fund that was giving me AMAZING returns. Then one day, wham! The SEC files suit against the fund, and the value plummeted. They even sent Mr. Madoff, the nice old man who ran the fund, to jail. I can't believe the SEC would be so cruel, they ruined my investment when they were suppppoosseed to be protecting me! And now it's the same thing with muh Ripples and nice ol Mr. Garlinghouse who was totally on the up and up. Boo! [link] [comments]  |
