Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:37 AM PST Recently I created a frontend for https://coinstructor.io/ I think this is an awesome project with a clear benefit - it's saving money for people who want to create an erc20 token. But it's a huge disappointment - I can promote this service. In the search console, I see nothing no proper indexation from google. create ads - got banned account. Looks like a big conspiracy against Ethereum (or cryptocurrency in general) Any thoughts? [link] [comments]
What steps to secure crypto information and wallet Posted: 20 Jan 2021 06:25 PM PST I came across this youtube video about making your crypto accounts and email as secure as possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEtj34VMClU&list=WL&index=19 Does anyone else follow procedures like having two step verification and long string passwords? My concern with the passwords is them being so difficult to memorizes if its a long string of letters and numbers and not being able to quickly access the exchange for a transaction. Posted: 20 Jan 2021 06:14 AM PST So recently I sent some ether to the elastOS wallet not knowing that it using a different chain for transactions and long story short basically just sent ETH from one address to another. Unfortunately I can't access this ETH because the wallet does not allow it but I know it's there because I've used etherscan.io and it shows the correct amount of ETH. I've been trying to import my mnemonic phrase into a new ETH wallet but when this happens it creates a new wallet address with none of the ETH stored in the address from the other wallet. Can anyone explain to me how exactly I access this ether or if it's lost for good? Been trying a lot of different things and it doesn't seem to be working out... Thanks! [link] [comments]
Decentralized Personal Profile standardization? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 03:56 PM PST I had an idea some time ago that I figured a thousand other people have had before me, so now I'm asking: Since most SoMe platforms (and actually most platforms that require a user) require a bunch of the same information, is anyone working to build a standardized "personal profile" to dock with any decentralized platforms? It could contain anything from your name, contact info and music preferences to formal credentials, POAPs, medical information etc. By selecting which entities can access which information, you would be able to use this standardized personal profile for anything, saving time and giving you a single point for managing and updating all of your personal information. If such a system already exists, I want to get started building my profile! :) Edit: Found this article perfectly describing the idea: https://gerardlamo.medium.com/the-ultimate-privacy-control-decentralized-personal-profiles-a459e82d36be [link] [comments]
if i bid 2K on ENS temporary premium Domain do i get it immediately ? Ethereum transaction costs kind of confusing Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:14 AM PST So I have my ETH stored on an exchange and was trying to figure out how to use it to pay for stuff. my first question is, Is this possible? as in is binance a hot wallet you can use to purchase stuff by sending eth directly from your binance balance? Second question, when i was looking up some form of explanation and maybe a transaction calculator, I didn't find an easy one to use and instead stumbled upon all these new terms like gas and gwei, none of which was understandable to me. Does anyone have an easy way to explain what these things are, and how I can calculate my transaction costs? does there even exist a normal calculator where u just put in x amount of eth and it tells u the transaction cost based on whether you want a fast or slow transaction? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 12:22 PM PST Hi all, I'm looking for alternate places other than a hardware wallet or exchange to hold my balances. I've read up on banks like blockfi, but I'm not totally sold on it. Are there alternatives? Does anyone have any experience with any? Love to get your thoughts good bad or indifferent [link] [comments] |
