The XRP subreddit is falling for a pump and dump group with 125K members and their moderators are doing nothing about it

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 01:29 AM PST

First of all, I'm not here to advertise the pump and dump (what they're calling a pump and hold). I'm not even going to link the group or the "date" of the supposed pump.

But there are a ton of people in there that are constantly posting about this latest group and they are all going to lose a shit ton of money.

To anyone who I've interested, take one second and realize that these groups are meant to build up hype and dump when you least expect it. And they dump HARD and almost no one wins except the people who made the group.

This one group though has appeared to strike gold with the number of users they've scammed into it and it's most likely stemmed from the WallStreetBets/DOGE pump and dump hype. They're even going as far to call it a "pump and hold" group.

Just wanted to bring awareness to how entirely stupid those people in that subreddit have become.

The /r/XRP moderators are also not removing any of the topics related to it.

Minimize your pump and dump losses in one simple step!

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:16 PM PST

What people need to realise is that when you become aware of a pump and dump IT IS TOO LATE TO BUY.

The way a successful pump and dump works is this:

    1. A very small group of people decide to PnD a coin.

    2. This group of people buy significant amounts of said coin, usually without moving the price too much.

    3. This group creates hype around the coin and convinces people that 'it will be the next to pump' or even give a specific time (which is one of the most ridiculous things to believe anyway).

    4. As the hype builds people try to ride the pump, buying at inflated prices.

    5. The same people who organised the PnD have already started selling their coins. The coins YOU are buying are them selling at the inflated price.

    6. By the time the coin hits the top, every single coin from every single person who organised it has been sold... to you.

    7. You're left with bags, desperately selling while the price tanks.

    8. Oh what's this? The price has started to climb again! This is due to other bag holders desperately creating hype so they can get out with smaller losses.

    9. Oh the price is dumping even harder now and you got greedy. You've now lost even more and not even to the original organisers. They're long gone.

So please remember, if you know of a pump and dump you have long missed the boat.

    Doge inflation for dummies

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 03:52 AM PST

So, you're new here and think meme coins are going to buy you a lambo next week just like GME did, so your smooth brained, diamond handed troglodyte self bought some doge coin.

As of writing this doge has a 127910836383.00... circulating supply.

So to quote an edge lords post I just saw on the cesspool called r/dogecoin "if everyone on this sub all buys 50 dollars worth of doge and hold that will be a BILLION DOGE!!!!1!!1!"

Cute, love your enthusiasm, really I do....here's the problem.

1 billion doge is .781% of circulating supply. If you were buying a coin that had a finite supply then yeah, that would actually be pretty dang powerful.....but you're not.

You're buying a coin that inflates 5% annually what that means is the all you drooling fuckwits "diamond handzz πŸ’ŽπŸ€²πŸ’ŽπŸ€²πŸ’ŽπŸ€²πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€" will watch 6.5 times as many coins be mined and dumped within one year, it takes less than 2 months to mine a billion doge, and those of us mining it for fun to keep this great learning tool alive have no problem dumping and teaching you to spend 20 minutes researching before you listen to Reddit on what to throw your money at.

Have people made money off the doge pump? Totally. Will people make more? Totally.

But here's your problem, you aren't fighting boomers who are to fucking brain dead to open a PDF file, that also happen to be the closest thing we have to super villians who destroy markets and lives for their own profit.

Nope, you're challenging 20 and 30 something year olds that were born with a mouse in their palm, your challenging people who not only know crypto, but fucking built it, not living off daddies trust fund and connections for generations. There's no 2nd generation of privilege in crypto like wallstreet, welcome to the bleeding fucking edge.

I have a bag of doge, I send it to friends that say "hey so how do I get started in this crypto thingy" I sent doge to my dad so he could play with a wallet and understand the concept.

If my dad burned the 1000 doge I sent him, we would laugh because it's worthless and that's what it's for, learning how to use crypto.

When you send Bitcoin to the wrong address and burn it, it's gone. The total supply of Bitcoin has permanently been decreased. And that's why people call it digital gold, there's only so much to go around, after it's all been mined it's over, miners will only get paid in transaction fees.

This is not financial advice. This is common fucking sense. Spend 20 minutes and read about what crypto you're going to put money in to. Doge coin inflates more than Fiat, and it does so for the exact purpose of preventing this kind of shit. Even one of the co creators has a less than 50 dollar bag of doge because anything more than literal beer money is stupid to invest in something built to inflate.

Please comment if I have any of this wrong and I will edit this post, I'm here to learn not just blindly buy "shares" as these uncouth morons call coins
