    Brave users on iOS no longer allowed to collect BAT token

    Brave just announced that iOS users will no longer be able to get bat tokens for surfing/ad notifications.

    Looks like brave couldn't convince apple to let people receive tokens, falling under their policy of only using apple store to buy things.

    It looks like the plan is to let people move their collected bat off of their mobile to their desktop. But the latest version has turned off earning bat for iOS.

    This is to bad for brave and iOS brave users.

    Moons per Karma (Note: Round 7 introduced doubling of comment karma)

    Before the latest distribution round, the lowest Moons per Karma had been the Round 6 distribution at the end of October, with 6.64 Moons per Karma (roughly equivalent to Moons per Upvote). The most recent Round 7 distribution saw a 58% decrease in Moons per Karma to 2.80, the largest month-to-month percentage drop since the distributions began.

    This can be mostly attributed to a 131% increase in total Karma earned over the previous round:

    Round 7, a 131% increase in total Karma earned over Round 6.

    Edit: several people have pointed out that a proposal passed for the last round that doubled the karma earned from comments. Thanks for the info, I didn't know about that. So that is mostly responsible for the increase in karma and drop in moons per karma.

    Although there was also a 29% increase in users earning moons from round 6 to round 7, so that probably helped decrease the moons per karma:

    A 29% increase in users earning karma from round 6 to 7.
