ETC deposits disabled on most exchanges, where are you guys making your swaps? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 08:13 AM PST Currently mining ETC- where are you other ETC miners sending your proceeds for swaps to other cryptos or cashing out to fiat? Coinbase is still accepting ETC deposits, but puts a 91,000 block confirmation time on deposit transactions (which is approximately 17 days to confirm). My other haunts (Kraken, Binance) have disabled ETC deposits. Same with Shapeshift and Changelly. So far, I've found FixedFloat.com still accepts ETC deposits to swap for other cryptos. Are there solid places I'm missing, or have I found the best option available at the moment? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Nov 2020 11:48 PM PST I have a 6 rx 580 rig, all 8gb, 2 of them being red devil models. One runs stock at 31 mhs, but the other one only runs at 20 - 22 mhs. The one that runs at 31 has micron memory, and the one that runs at 20 has sk hynix. is it the memory type causing that much of a gap in mhs? (everything stock, no overclocks or bios modding) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:28 PM PST New to mining and I can't find too much info on what pcie risers to get bc I keep finding opposite stuff such as one guy telling me his best experience was with Sata and another telling me it burnt his entire rig [link] [comments] |
Post Christmas Boom in Used Cards? Posted: 18 Nov 2020 11:56 AM PST My first year mining, working on my second rig. With new cards out now and Christmas soon, is there any sort of after Christmas boom in the used GPU market, when little Johnny gets his new 6800 and is looking to unload his old card? Just curious if people experienced this in the past. [link] [comments] |
Mixing 5700xt and Vega 56 in Hiveos Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:44 AM PST Has anyone sucessfully mixed 5700xt and Vega 56 cards in Hiveos? I know you need to run the beta version to run the 5700xt, but will Vegas work with this version? [link] [comments] |
Radeon RX 6800 Series Has Excellent ROCm-Based OpenCL Performance On Linux Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:08 AM PST These are the first compute-oriented benchmarks I have been able to find for the new Radeon 6000 series of GPUs. While these do not give mining hash-rates, they still are generally indicative of what kind of uplift we can expect compared to the 5000 series cards (and Nvidia when computing OpenCL. I don't see any comparison to the same tasks written with CUDA.) It appears that, under OpenCL tasks, the Radeon 6000 series GPUs outperform even the Nvidia 3000 series in most categories, including performance-per-dollar (retail price) and performance-per-watt.
