GPU Mining adding 3rd gpu windows 10 |
Posted: 11 Nov 2020 07:33 AM PST Hey guys, Im hoping this is a common issue but I cant seem to solve the problem with my searches. I have 2 rx 5700 xt which have been mining for a while now. My rich friend gifted me his old 1080 ti (he got the new 3080 surprise surprise). When I hook up the 1080ti, my computer either A.) does not boot and fans/lights just spin as if it was running... or B the device is not recognized (yes all drivers are installed). The issue is not the 1080ti, its adding a 3rd GPU. Configs that work are: 1 1080ti, 1 rx 5700xt or 2 rx 5700xt 1500w PSU, gigabyte z370 xp sli mobo. Its not a power issue. I have enabled 4g decoding in my mobo settings. I have tried multiple riser / non riser configs. At least 1 riser is always being used but for whatever reason, 1 out of 3 GPUs fails to be recognized in the devices menu. No Bios mods. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Nov 2020 06:57 PM PST I tried BIOS modding an RX 5600 XT, but I forgot to use the -unlockrom command in amdvbflash, and now the system won't even post when the GPU is plugged in. Is there anything I can do to save this card? I have a a PowerCooler card. [link] [comments] |
