We’re about to enter the next bull run Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:18 PM PST Yes it's already a bull run. Yes it's been said many times before. No I have no actual idea what I'm talking about. But I bought my first ETH @100 around May of 2017 and it feels like that again. Random people talking about crypto. This time I want to catch a few more of those random juicy 10xs on shitcoins. Shill me your shitcoins. I want low market cap, hasn't already 10x'd this month, with some beleivable bullshit reason why it's gonna be huge. Go [link] [comments]

Crypto slack group chat for responsible investors Posted: 30 Nov 2020 08:33 PM PST I've started a crypto slack group chat with the aim to provide a space for genuine discussion about cryptocurrency markets among both beginners and seasoned investors. The idea is to create a helpful space where people can ask questions, share research, and host thoughtful discussion as opposed to the crypto meme-fest that a lot of crypto subreddits have become. So far we have 50 members! If you're genuinely interested I will pm you an invite link as I don't want to break sub rules by posting it openly. [link] [comments]
Why aren't altcoins seeing a run up? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:00 AM PST I remember back in 2017 when bitcoin ran up so did a lot of other altcoins. This time it doesn't seem to be the case. Is it because institutional money is only investing in the main crypto (bitcoin) and not divesting? Is it because we're only at the beginning of the run up? [link] [comments]

Three days trying to pay by credit cards Posted: 30 Nov 2020 05:00 PM PST I'm trying to make a payment, which is slightly different from my day-to-day spending. This is a $4000 payment to a non-US merchant. I usually spend smaller amounts and mostly in the US. So the transaction gets rejected. All 4 of my credit cards rejected it - "fraud investigation". Even though I did make smaller payments to the same merchant before and there was no problem. For three days straight I'm trying to call and "authorize" the transaction. The representative on the phone, reading from the script, verifies it's me and promises that the card is unfrozen now, and the transaction will go through. But the robot rejects the payment again and again, there is no way a representative can override it. After all, they just read the script lines that the same robot puts on their screens. I learned that there are 4 (!) levels of security override, and now I'm in the process of applying to the level 4 override, for which I should send all kinds of documents and spend hours on the phone. None of my US banks can send a wire transfer to non-US account. They can only receive incoming SWIFT transfers. The time that I spent on the phone trying to make that payment is valued in thousands of dollars now. The problem is fundamental - CC payments are so insecure and there is so much fraud, that they must perform those excessive checks. If only they accepted crypto, that would take 10 min and $1. That's why BTC is going to $1M. [link] [comments]
Is there a tool to show multiple pairs in lines on a single chart? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 02:40 PM PST I like to inspect coinmarketcap charts where it shows additional lines with market cap and btc value but I really miss the function to add lines with btc price (or any other alt coin) or total crypto market cap. I googled this question to no avail, so have to ask reddit. [link] [comments]
