    Hi all, I'm a uni student and I have a gtx2070 and I was wondering if it would be worth me mining some crypto for some cash as I don't pay any electrical bills.

    I'm curious how I would go about doing this and any tips or suggestions.

    If anyone could point me to the right direction I would greatly appreciate it

    Hi guys!

    My previous post

    So I made some updates to https://www.gpupricechecker.com/

    • Added sorting and filtering
    • Addd more cards
    • Addd Ethereum mining related values
    • Added simple graph for visualization (experimental)
    • Made my best attempt to improve UI (despite my lack of UX/UI experience)

    TODO:

    • Add prices from other countries
    • Continue improving UI experience (i still feel the site displays too much data)

    So yeah I would love to hear what you guys think. Any feedback/critisim/praise is welcome! It's been fun side project so far, especially when there are actual users.

    Should I return this card? I don’t now much about mining but it seems like he kept it in good condition

    I ordered a used 1070 and then asked if it was used for mining

    He said "It was briefly used for mining i purchased it around march and used it for about 6 months all of my cards were under powered for energy efficiency and ran at around 60c i am only selling them because i am switching to different cards. As far as the working condition goes it was working great when i put it in the box as i said in the listing it is also possibly still covered under gigabytes transferable 3 year warranty great cards I've owned a lot and only had 1 die."

    Will it work fine?

    8gb 290x only getting 15mh/s daggerhashimoto on nicehash..somethings wrong right?

    just added a old xfx 8gb 290x i found in storage i had forgotten about for years to a mining rig with vega64's ,vegas are getting 43ish but the 290x is only getting 15ish(11-12 on Kawpow) ..something is wrong correct? i cant find any mining bios's for this specific xfx DD 290x 8gb. its been a very long time since iv mined on 290x's but i remember getting 30 is so from them..thoughts?
