Can't get more than 26-27mhz on an rx580 Posted: 05 Sep 2020 12:56 AM PDT Hi all For some reason I can't seem to get any more than 27mhz out if my rx580 8gb. I've overclocked and undervolted (1150/2100 and 850/925) I've tried tried flashing the bios ( tried straps etc. But just can't really get more out of it Any tips? Or maybe even a suggested bios? Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:45 PM PDT I've seen some posts regarding getting into gpu mining, although I would love to hear other opinion on this. Im a teen, I've saved up some money over the summer to invest in my first "niche" , looking to buy 4-5 x 1660ti or 580 8gb rig. I just want to hear what would be the worst case scenario, and what are some realistic expections I should have. Edit: Electricity costs: 0,078eu =0,095US [link] [comments]
MSI RX 570 ETC=2 Mh/s but ETH=29 Mh/s Posted: 04 Sep 2020 02:48 PM PDT Hello guys, i am looking for some advice about mining speed, i mine since 2017 mostly ETC. After DAG grew up, i put to my RX 570 rig one 8GB rx 580 card. everything went smoothly but one day in august all 4GB rx 570 cards significantly decreased. When i swithed rig to ETH mining, speed is as usual. [link] [comments]
First mining rig, need some help with it. Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:29 PM PDT Hello everyone, first ever post on reddit. I want to join the mining commmunity, yet I have very little knowledge of basically anything about it yet, so I would like to get some help with the build. First of all my electricity rates are 0.18 which is definetly high, so I would like to get something efficient first that I can use at home, but later on I can place rigs at a remote place which wont cost me anything (would only need to buy a simcard and a WIFI thing that can also output a network cable) My thought is to go with: 12x rx5700XT, b250, Celeron 3930T, 2x Patriot Signature Line Memory 4gb, SP 128 ssd and gpumining risers. Now I do not know how many PSUs I would need for that rig, and which ones. Saw that most people use the EVGA 1200w PSUs and thought about them, but then saw 1600w ones and Im completly lost here, would like to get some help with which PSUs to get and how many of them so it will work safely. Another thing I is that some risers that are connected via sata are getting burned (?) so I would like to know how to connect them, I do not completly know yet which connection is SATA/MOLEX/PCIE or what is the difference between them so all the PSU related things I would need alot of help with, like a babyminer. Hope I wrote it good and didnt break any rules here. Thanks. [link] [comments]
5 GTX 1060s Running at ~116MH in closed room setting Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:15 AM PDT Hi all, my first post after building a rig. We decided we want to keep it in doors and save space while also not letting any of the heat stay in the room. We ended up buying 6 cards for a good price but one turned out to be bust. This is our 5 card set up that stays in our room. We do 116MH/465W of power which gives us just over 600% profitability. Our electricity cost is .128c/KW and monthly expense is roughly ~$45-50. Does anyone else have builds that are for indoor? Some PICS: https://i.imgur.com/xKm5V0M.jpg [link] [comments]
