    [Q] How could I exchange one coin for another if both are on the same address?

    I've withdraw all my BAT from Uphold to my Metamask address. Also, I have some USDT.

    I'm unable to withdraw my funds from my Metamask address to Binance due to GAS.

    How could I exchange some of my BAT for ETH to get some GAS?

    EDIT. The solution was to buy Ethereum on an exchange and send it to my Metamask wallet and then perform the transaction. Another solution is to use some app (Dharma app) that pays the gas fee for you as a fellow redditor mentioned in the comments, though I didn't try it.

    Bithumb says "because we have not this token we don't support". They can't find the transaction on their end. I sent OM tokens to the say wallet it they arrived.

    Anything I can do?

    (First time I've done this in years of crypto'ing ffs)

    Questions regarding staking and different chains

    Hi there,

    as far as I understood the transition to Ethereum 2.0 will be done in 3 Phases.

    With Phase 0 there will be a new "Beacon Chain". Staking can be done only on that chain. If one sends 32ETH to a specific address (on the main Ethereum PoW Chain) he'll get the same amount (??) of ETH2 on the Beacon Chain. One cannot change ETH2 back to ETH.

    In Phase1 "Sharding Phase" in ~2021 one is maybe (!) able to change ETH2 back to ETH. Having transfered a minimum of 32ETH will allow me to participate as a validator on the Beacon Chain and I can earn passive ETH2 while doing that.

    So far so good.

    - will ETH2 be "tradable" on exchanges like ETH and if yes: in which phase will that start? If it's not, one can only take profits from staking after it's possible to change ETH2 to ETH.

    - will there be a "fixed ratio" ETH2:ETH or is it going to be volatile like BTC:ETH as well? As far as I understand it should have to be fixed.
