I made a dashboard for Bitmex liquidations - what do you think? Posted: 18 Aug 2020 02:29 AM PDT I recently started some perpetuals trading and was pretty confused by all the data involved. I think Bitmex doesn't show a lot of the information you can get from the API very well and some of these are pretty important in making trading decisions, so I decided to make a UI. It's still a work in progress but would love to know what you think - would you use it? Is there something not on here you'd like to see? [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Aug 2020 01:24 PM PDT Most recently, an upper middle aged woman family friend called me out of the blue inquiring information on getting some money into and I quote "the bitcoin" I explained that she shouldn't blindly throw money into something just because its speculated to go up. On the one hand news is a spreading to the masses faster than ever and that boomer liquidity might flood into the market. On the other hand should we be concerned that it's not because of the actual tech these companies have to offer but instead almost pure speculation and potential for gains? [link] [comments]

Monero is born from Mandatory Privacy Posted: 17 Aug 2020 01:10 PM PDT Simply put, what makes Monero unique from a privacy perspective is mandatory privacy. In all civility, I'm not sure most of you comprehend the weight of fungibility, the amount of work that it took to achieve that crown, and the fact that Monero is the only coin with any sort of utility that can claim to be fungible. If something isn't fungible, it isn't money. Period. With over a 160 contributors Monero has built an open community that is thriving as a decentralized, highly resilient open source project where people can join the community as developers or otherwise without being extreme early adopters and without being relegated to second-tier sub-citizen status below the company, dev tax recipients, instaminer devs, ICO fund holder, etc. None of the others are that or even close. Some of you may worry that big govt will one day shut Monero down. But how can they shutdown what they can not see. Think about next time you move some Bitcoin or Ethereum around. They are watching. Dont think they are not. [link] [comments]
