Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:49 PM PDT I woke up this morning realizing that I just lost all of my hard earned money and savings in about 2 hours. Someone got access to my private key (or at least I think so) and everything was gone. Somehow he/she knew what to go for first, took everything from there. Went into every single other platform that I use and withdrew everything. I don't even recall having my private key saved somewhere or posting it online. How did I get hacked? Who do I talk to? Whats stupider is that I am a student with loans and now all my funds are gone. I know there is an almost 0% chance to get my funds back but I just need to know how do I recover from this. I am in so much shock that I literally can't think straight. Help. [link] [comments]

Is there a way to invest in a balanced fund of select currencies? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 11:36 PM PDT Similar to an ETF or index fund but preferably with custom selected currencies and balanced by their market cap or other criteria. I know of Bitwise, they have high requirements. CRYPTO20's portfolio isn't appealing and their coin can only be bought on low-level exchanges. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jul 2020 04:23 PM PDT Do the two old giants, Ripple and Litecoin, have a promising future? It seems to me both are performing quite badly price-wise though they are having a little bull run now, as far as I understand this because LTC lack developers and therefore progress while XRP has a lot of coin dumping going on. I know there's much more to it, but I'm still in the early stages of understanding crypto technology and markets. I hope some of you can chip in with some interesting facts, analysis and predictions. Crypto pegged to stocks + DEX = regulation-free stocks? Posted: 31 Jul 2020 03:49 AM PDT I was thinking about this recently. With stuff like Chainlink and some Eth contracts which provide real world data to the blockchain, just how hard and how legal would it be to create a DEX with tokens which are paired to their real world stocks equivalents? And if it's possible, wouldn't this be a major SEC violation which authorities could essentially do nothing about? [link] [comments]

Does anybody here trade LTC for BTC? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 05:41 PM PDT I just learned about the ratios and all and I'm looking for reasons to go in on LTC to trade during the real take off. Anybody have anything to say against it or more on why it's a good idea? Trying to figure it out [link] [comments]
Someone tell me why this idea sucks. Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:49 PM PDT A decentralized token that will be distributed to every American, called VoteCoin or something. Everyone casts their vote for a candidate in November, each transaction is logged in the blockchain, and is void of manipulation or hacks. Obviously I don't know enough about blockchain technology but I think maybe this could be utilized for voting? [link] [comments]
