Posted: 13 Jul 2020 01:40 AM PDT I want to hear BCHN make their best case. I am having a hard time believing or trusting such a newly devised development team (less than 6 months old, disregarding individual history of each member as loyalties can change through concerted bribes as we saw when Andreas Antonopoulos and a whole bunch of other old-timer Bitcoiners sold out collectively around the time of Blockstream formation). To a certain extent, time in the game is skin in the game so I want to hear them out, preferably if they don't attack people for asking honest questions. I will try not to comment further here. Bitcoin Cash Works Great, But We Have To Dream BIG! Posted: 12 Jul 2020 04:29 AM PDT Bitcoin Cash needs to scale further, so that we can attract big merchants (like Amazon and Walmart) and countries that are spectacularly failing with their own currencies. We may have the innovations already. "Flowee the Hub has demonstrated 250MB blocks and 22500 tx/sec top speeds already" according to ThomasZander Bitcoin Cash can improve the DAA massively. There are already proposals that look great, like the ASERT DAA, but my knowledge is limited in this area. I want to make it clear that I am not an expert in the field of development, but we do have some amazing people in our community that are truly experts! I believe that in the longer term Bitcoin Cash has the potential to grow to truly become peer-to-peer electronic cash for the world's people. But for now, we just need to be ready for big merchants and failing countries. After we have successfully scaled, with reliable and faster confirmations, adoption is likely to "go viral" and grow massively as merchants and failing countries realise that we are ready! We will also attract more App developers. For scaling massively, improving the DAA, and having faster transactions, we need to figure out where the investment for infrastructure comes from. We can't rely on a few developers not getting properly rewarded for their efforts 2021 can be the year Bitcoin Cash accelerated, made huge progress and left other crypto coins in the rear view mirror. Let us all work together towards our common goal. [link] [comments]

Looking for help moving BSV out of Ledger Nano Posted: 12 Jul 2020 08:18 PM PDT I'm hoping someone can help me move BSV out of my Ledger Nano. I had some BCH on my Nano before the BSV fork. I tried to move some BCH to an Edge wallet hoping to use that wallets splitting tool. The BCH moved but apparently the BSV didn't. I was informed by someone at Edge tech support that the BCH moved but the BSV didn't and that it appears that the BSV is replay protected and that is why it didn't move. There seems to be a lot of information on how to move and split BCH/BSV but how would I go about moving BSV from a Ledger without moving it with BCH? I've been pulling my hair out trying to find something on this but just can't seem to find any answers. [link] [comments]

"precise problem statement" re: DAA Posted: 12 Jul 2020 09:29 AM PDT ABC has proposed that the first step to occur in this process is to establish the "precise problem statement". So is that what is being focused on in the discussions? [link] [comments]
