| Bitcoin Cash Register doesn't play so nice with privacy protocols Posted: 23 Mar 2020 04:25 PM PDT Spent the weekend doing some testing of BCH privacy tools; the latest CashShuffle and CashFusion, but also had a throwback to Stealth Addresses and BIP-47. I ran into a problem with the 2 former, in that they weren't "fully" compatible with the defacto POS system for Bitcoin Cash (ie. Bitcoin Cash Register). When making "partial" payments, the app WILL NOT complete the payment, unless the output satisfies the FULL amount of the request. It doesn't matter how many times you send, it will simply update the display to the most recent amount sent. Yes, I could have combined inputs, but that seemed to have defeated the purpose of shufflin' and fusin'. In my (understandably "edge") case, who does mixing from their mobile wallet; I was also exploring an idea I read by Gavin regarding Tornado.cash. In short, instead of shuffling back into one's OWN wallet; the protocol would serve as "cloud" wallet and you would control the ability to send directly from the protocol itself. The workaround, in this case, is the protocol would need to be able to combine inputs for you. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed that this failed to work in Bitcoin Cash Register; as I see no point in (myself) developing anything in BCH that is not useful in daily commerce. (read: building adoption!) Couple questions:

The socialism for the rich is destroying our economy and our societies. It's proponents are lying and cheating to keep it alive. They're doing all they can to postpone the inevitable collapse. But like all socialist systems, it is against human nature and bound to fail. A sound cryptocurrency like Bitcoin Cash is our lifeboat from hyper inflation and tyranny, and we need to keep spreading adoption and keep informing people about Satoshis invention.
