Why nobody is talking about the removal of the bank reserve minimums in the US? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 05:42 AM PDT It was passed together with printing $700B and cutting FED interest rates to 0% but in my opinion removing the fractional banking reserve is the most significant one, since it will allow the greatest monetary expansion since now banks will be able to lend out almost as much as they want. It goes into effect on 26th March. What do you think will happen? [link] [comments]

Veteran Trader: Bitcoin Should be Viewed as “Catastrophic Insurance Policy” Posted: 23 Mar 2020 10:09 PM PDT Bitcoin has been firmly acting as a risk-on asset over the past several weeks, with its price closely tracking the movements seen by the U.S. stock markets. This has invalidated its status as a safe haven asset and has made the benchmark crypto prone to seeing massive near-term downside. Although BTC has been moving in tandem with the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and other benchmark indices, one veteran trader and highly respected analyst is now noting that he believes investors should view Bitcoin, Gold, and other precious metals as "catastrophic insurance policies." What do you think? [link] [comments]
Is BTC still correlated to STOCK Sp&500 ? Posted: 24 Mar 2020 03:52 AM PDT Where are those claiming BTC is correlated to anything the Stock exchange has to offer ? I still believe BTC is the greatest thing human kind has ever created in the entire history of the Universe. It's so Anti-Spreading of COVID-19 that is if you choose to use it as a medium of exchange. What about store of Value ? [link] [comments] |
