I am not a miner, but I a question this community might be able to help with.

I bought a xfx rx580 used from someone that bought it from a miner. He had an issue where the card would crash in the middle of gameplay, so he bought another card and had the same issue. So he thought it was his system and sold his old card to me. I am having the same issue he did.

I did some digging and was wondering if if the bios is cause of the crashes. the bios on the left is the one i found at techpowerup.com listed as the default bios. the one on the right is currently on the card. It looks like the bios on the card now is undervolted which might be the cause of the issue? could i be correct in this? will flashing the bios on the left resolve the issue?

question to power multi cable card

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 11:34 PM PST

so i have a 1000 watt EVGA GQ Gold PSU and i dont have any cables that go from 1 8pin to two 8pins on the same cable. is it possible to use two 8pin cables to use on an RTX 2070 ROG without damaging it, or do i HAVE to use the single cable option. im not worried about power draw or anything like that as its no longer 2008 where GPUs used 300 watts or more i just dont want to purchase another cable unless i have to. thank you for the answers in advance. :)

    Nanopool ETH fork

Looks like Nanopool didn't properly fork, or their UI is wrong. Just an FYI if you mine there

Hopefully they make up the lost income to their miners
