Despite YouTube apology we should still be moving to decentralised platforms. Posted: 26 Dec 2019 03:17 PM PST I see a lot of affected content creators saying that YouTube has apologised for the "mistake" of removing certain crypto related content. Despite this being a one off mistake, the community needs to shift to decentralised platforms such as LBRY, for the day when the apology does not come and it is not a mistake to censor our community. What’s a good decentralized platform for content creators? Posted: 27 Dec 2019 01:04 AM PST Everyone has suggested content creators move to decentralized platforms recently with YouTube's blunder. But I honestly don't know any outside of Steemit. Are there better places for people to be using nowadays? My google searches didn't show me much. [link] [comments] | ||

For anyone that’s been here a while Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:22 AM PST Reflect on yourself how much you know about crypto now compared to how much you knew when you started. Then ask yourself how much has changed negatively "literally nothing" Now ask yourself how much progress has been made in the past 3-4 years it's crazy how lost people get by following price constantly. Adoption is going to be achieved over time, and worrying about price has nothing to do with the latter, if you want to be a part of an emerging technology, you've already committed in some way don't lose true sight following price action and end up cucking yourself out of once in a lifetime opportunity. This youtube conspiracy might not be realistic but correct me if I am wrong Posted: 27 Dec 2019 12:06 AM PST I noticed it before it trended when Alessio got terminated. However the reason for terminating was valid and his account was given back and I think he's one of the most respectable finance people in todays age. What I noticed over the past year, on nearly every youtube crypto guy, is the comment sections being INFESTED with scammers/impersonators and these impersonators do a really good damn job going as far as having full blown conversations with themselves using other accounts which look legit and even feel legit. Very easy scams to the normies. I suspect over the past year or so, reports been coming in heavy to youtube forcing them to 'act'. The action wasn't 100% on point as they mis-banned a lot of people mistaking them for the scammers which in actuality the scammers were in the comment sections. Whoever is a LEGIT youtuber, if there account was terminated they most likely will get it back. However if any LEGIT youtuber doesn't get his/her account back, Then I would be worried. So how much do we know about legit youtubers being ban? So far it seems like a lot of these so called legit youtubers are shills. They aren't teaching much about the actual technology and they aren't really teaching much about real finance advice and how trading really works. For reference, check out Alessio Rastani's channel. He has a legit finance channel that really does teach about investing/trading because he himself is a legitimate professional and not some random young youtuber who's really just trying to make it by being entertaining oppose to sharing knowledge. My conclusion is that Youtube had to act quickly on the mass reports which led to many faulty bans which is essentially a mistake within there system of how they handle these reports. I don't really think there's a bigger thing going on but I am open to changing my mind [link] [comments] |
