Bitcoin needs to be quoted in SATs.

    Posted: 26 Dec 2019 05:35 PM PST

We're almost at the point where BTC price needs to be quoted in SATs.

I have a wallet that does it and an app, but I wish that it was more prevalent. Better for new investor psychology I think.

It's like when Apple did the 6 for 1 stock split. Price seemed real high at $600 all of the sudden you can get Apple for $100! What a deal! Nothing had changed though.

SATs units or whatever. Media starts spreading that you can get a million Bitcoin units for less than $100 watch it 🌕

Taking a punched / engraved steel seed through airport x-ray.

    Posted: 26 Dec 2019 09:18 PM PST

I am slightly worried about travelling with an engraved seed. It seems entirely plausible to me that the latest x-ray technology has the resolution to see the engravings on a steel plate.

Anyone have any suggestions to mitigate this issue?

Are you ready for a state level attack on bitcoin?

    Posted: 26 Dec 2019 11:37 AM PST

Remember when we were fighting it out with shitcoins and teenage wonder boy "geniuses"? Next bitcoin will be up against state-level price manipulation and government issued stablecoins. What if your country opposes bitcoin entirely- are you willing to be arrested or move to another country?

In Iran they simply shut down the internet indefinitely. What then?

These are serious questions to think about. Bitcoin cant be about gains and moon all the time. We have to face the reality of the war that could be declared on bitcoin.

    Poloniex Crypto Exchange.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 02:18 AM PST

Hi I read an article stating that Poloniex Exchange was allowing people to open an account with only an email address and password, anybody know how they can get over KYC and AML or am I missing something?.

The only way I could see a company being able to deliver this kind of anonymity is if they operate in a country that's void of these laws.

Confirmations of a transaction per node

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 12:27 AM PST

Just checking the number of confirmations of a BTC transaction of mine: it's now at 11,629 confirmations. Now... is it that each node confirms only once, or is it possible for a single node to confirm the same transaction more than once?
