    Why cryptocurrencies: Private money

    Posted: 08 Dec 2019 10:29 PM PST

    Hi!

I just uploaded the latest chapter in my book, called Private money, and I would very much appreciate any feedback on this topic.

There's also a discussion about the privacy and fungibility problem that cryptocurrencies face.

Please keep in mind that the target audience is non-technical people who don't know anything about cryptocurrencies.

    Cheers!

The human tendency to become entangled in conflict is a predictable pattern. With multiple development teams competing, confrontation is only a matter of time. To resolve this, miners must assume their executive role. [2018-06-15]

Super interesting thread on how both BTC and BSV have centrally planned production quotas. BTC has a maximum quota while BSV has a minimum quota. Both are detrimental.

Not sure who needs to hear this but, reminder: Satoshi left of purpose, if someone is publicly claiming to be Satoshi, that person is probably not Satoshi.

I have no idea how many of those "BSV" guys are real, but if any of you are out there, just be aware that CSW is a con man.

SLP questions: can all SLP wallets safely sweep private keys with a token on them?

    Posted: 08 Dec 2019 01:02 PM PST

Let's say I've got a private key whose address has an SLP token on it.

I want to sweep it, but without destroying the token.

    Which wallets can I use?

(asking around for answers from those who've tried it, before I do a potentially destructive action)

    Thx
