Posted: 12 Dec 2019 08:12 AM PST Yesterday I posted a video on r / Bitcoin, where I perform a double spend attack using a BTC wallet with RBF. In order to educate people not to conduct transactions with zero confirmation. In the same video I demonstrate that the attack does not work with BCH, so I just suggested that for micropayment transactions, which in general cannot be expected for the first acknowledgment to occur, they should give preference to BCH. For micropayments BTC offers a great risk to the merchant. Only that… Everyone knows that the BTC is not for micropayments something that was commented on by a r/Bitcoin member. And that risk would represent a tiny slice of the market. While we actually know the importance of micropayments for the sustainability of cryptocurrencies, the greatest proof of this is the effort made by the BTC community to develop LN. I in one of the comments explained that putting all the chips in LN is very risky, when there are already coins that make micropayments safely. It is just my humble opinion. Well, I think they can't stand criticism. I consider that all my criticisms were important to the BTC. For we are talking about a real possibility of attack that can be made by anyone. I repeat! Anyone can do! Quite simply by using, for example, a cell phone, if one cannot wait for a confirmation at least. What really makes BTC bad for micropayments! The comments I wanted would be; Let's look at this, or unfortunately we'll wait for LN, because we don't think micropayments are important right now, or we'll make users aware of this risk, but no, they banned me! In a free economy and society, competition and criticism are of the utmost importance for the evolution of systems; it is important to be tolerant, to live with divergent thoughts. They banned a critical idea from their group, hardly knowing that they lost more than they gained.
