Can we stop the spam from bitcoinist, livebitcoinnews and newsbtc? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 04:04 AM PDT Accounts like this one: Constantly spam posts from three sources, using vote manipulation to game the front page. All 3 of these sites are owned by the same person. They share the same ETH address for advertising: LiveBitcoinNews: https://i.imgur.com/EjAW8Rx.png Bitcoinist: https://i.imgur.com/REe4lRH.png NewsBTC: https://i.imgur.com/2gZrBZj.png Is this acceptable? I'd like to hear what the community thinks. /u/jwinterm is great at dealing with this but obviously stuff slips past. [link] [comments]
How do ICOs get so much funding? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 02:26 AM PDT I'm talking about ICOs like EOS. I understand how they get the funding but just not how they fund millions initially. If the white paper is pretty much the only proof of concept before the live product, what makes someone really invest in a project without using it for themselves or seeing if it I'll even work as intended in the future. Posted: 06 Oct 2019 08:40 PM PDT Virtually all of the data regarding long term investing suggests that automatic investing is the most reliable method. Are there currently any other platforms besides coinbase that accommodate automatic purchases of btc? Thanks! [link] [comments]

10% crypto interest rates discussion Posted: 06 Oct 2019 09:44 AM PDT So if you don't know anything about DeFi or compound on smart contracts then you might want to skip this one. I really don't understand how these decentralised loans and lending work behind the scenes. How am I able to lend my DAI and receive 10% interest on it? Who are the people wanting to take out Dai loans and how is there any guarantees that they will pay back the loan? It's so confusing to try and understand this, but the fact that so many trusted people are behind DeFi it seems to not be a scam. [link] [comments]
