Which i believe is part of preparation for the introduction to negative interest rates for Australia and cash being the only interest rate floor option for many.. Iv never been more bullish on the use-case for Bitcoin. HODL!!

    Recently discovered that Chinese mining pools control as much 80% of network hash rate. Since the Chinese government virtually runs a authoritarian government, what's stopping them from taking over these mining pools? Is there something I'm not aware of here?

    PS. I Originally posted this on r/cryptocurrency but wasn't getting clear cut answers [Thanks to Shillers]. I'm not posting this to smudge Bitcoin but because I'm honestly concerned. Hoping to get some authentic answers.

    The theory has value. It happens when all speculators exit and all what left is actual users. In bitcoin it didn't happen as actual hard core users increased but in ALTs, they are nearing their all time lows.

    Bitcoin is as different as it gets. For most people its a hard concept to grasp your mind about. And if we go into technicalities then it becomes very complex.

    Hence my humble suggestion is to be more tolerant of basic questions. Some Ideas: If a simple question irritates, then its better to stay silent than scare the noob away. Link to r/BitcoinBeginners . Considerate tone instead of fud. Quote relevant portion from link helps greatly.

    Its something I have been guilty of in the past in some other forums.

    We need more people to join the revolution!
