| Hey, Litecoin community - what do you think of cryptocurrency-funded space program? Posted: 06 Jun 2019 04:58 AM PDT Hello, We are a team of people trying to make space exploration a little bit more accessible for the common folk. So, our idea is to put a small satellite (cubesat) in orbit, with a public-accessible on-board computer, where everyone can upload and run their own mission software, effectively piloting a real spacecraft for some time (1 or more orbits). You would be able to operate the satellite payload instruments and subsystems, learn the specifics of space mission operation and software development skills for the space environment. Crazy as it is, we are not the only team trying to accomplish such a goal - European Space Agency will attempt to launch a very similar mission, called OPS-SAT, to be launched in Q4 2019. We are in touch with their team and will try to test parts of our technology on their satellite. | Posted: 04 Jun 2019 11:52 AM PDT Hi, So yesterday I tried moving some LTC from my wallet to an online exchange. I copied and pasted the receiving address from the exchange in order to send my funds. However, as of right now, the funds do not appear in my account, and the receiving address is different from the one I sent the funds to. I just contacted the exchange, and I am waiting for an answer, but in the meantime I would like to know what you guys think of this? I have never sent LTC to any other address, and upon checking the receiving address, it does seem to be an LTC address, so its not like I sent my funds to a non compatible address. (My wallet even tells me when that is the case). I looked up the wallet online and it has the funds I sent, nothing has moved. Do you guys know what couldve happened? Thanks [link] [comments]  |
