'In the post, Facebook criticizes existing blockchains, which it claims have yet to reach mainstream adoption, making them poor solutions as a store of value and medium of exchange'.

This is Facebooks opinion of this space. This move by them and their list of backers is not an endorsement of crypto or adoption. It's a rejection.

These idiot talking heads on crypto twitter need to wake up and realize Facebook is not our friend. They never have been. This is about connecting your financial profile to your personal social one and giving these companies a more complete set of data. This is not bullish for Bitcoin.

Facebook coin. Exchanges ceasing/reopening trading in the us. I don’t think the sec is going to sit on the sidelines for too much longer.

Facebook will expose billions to crypto. It has its benefits. But it's a bit concerning. This company is already monster in size and they are about to have their own currency/stable coin. They leaked data and have been doing sketchy shit in the past. I don't think regulation is too far away now.
