Is crypto income in virtual world taxable?

    Posted: 03 May 2019 04:41 PM PDT

In today's world, banks print money and use those money to drive activities, workers doing activities, receive money and pay taxes on their income

Suppose that in a virtual world, gamers get crypto income in form of ETH, by doing some assignments or coding. Is that kind of income taxable?

I remember that previously for all sorts of income in a game, they are not taxable, the directive from the tax authority is that they are considered part of the experience in the game. But now when crypto currency have some real world exchangeability, is that going to change?

    Ethereum Foundation bootnodes centralization risk

    Posted: 03 May 2019 05:40 AM PDT

When a new node starts it somehow needs to be able to connect to the existing network. (https://medium.com/orbs-network/the-actual-networking-behind-the-ethereum-network-how-it-works-6e147ca36b45)

From what I've found, this seems to be solved by 6 hard coded node id's that are controlled by the Ethereum Foundation. (https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/blob/master/params/bootnodes.go)

What are the risks? What if those nodes go down, are attacked, replaced etc?

Is there no better way to go about this?

I built cryptosummary.co and I am using it every day. Maybe you like it too

    Posted: 02 May 2019 11:26 PM PDT

Hello people. I needed a central page which shows all the needed info to quickly check the crypto markets. So I made http://cryptosummary.co

Tell me if you find it useful too, or if you want something changed.

It includes a news aggregator from different sources in different colors, gainers/losers section and prices section.

Best feature is that you can move your mouse over a coin and learn what it is quickly, I think.
