Can someone explain to me why David Schwartz selling his XRP is not a bad sign? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:24 AM PDT At the risk of being downvoted to oblivion and disrupting what has become something of an echo chamber, I was wondering if cooler heads could prevail here. Why is David Schwartz selling his XRP not a big deal? When Litecoin Charlie sold his stack, it was an event that seems to have dictated the future of the coin. Schwartz isn't Garlinghouse, but still. Thoughts? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2019 12:57 PM PDT Hello, so Ripple just released their Q1 Markets Report. This may seem like a silly question, but just wanted to ask to make sure I'm correct. So in the report they mention that they sold $61 million in institutional direct sales. Does this mean that banks, hedge funds, family offices, or high net-worth individuals are buying XRP from Ripple? From this it's safe to infer that they are investing in XRP which is a good sign. Are they selling XRP through OTC or through an exchange? There's also a row that features programmatic sales which I'm not even sure what that is. Thanks for the help and cheers everyone. Conspiracy theory: manipulation to prove stability (non-volatile) Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:32 AM PDT Could there be a push to prove XRP is decoupled from BTC, and all other crypto for that matter, and make the price stagnant? In the Q1 report by Ripple, they had an entire section dedicated to volatility, claiming it's been the least volatile quarter to date. I know we're all scratching our heads as to why Schwartz would be dumping his bags (although it was shown he didn't know what he was doing with Eth and trying to time the market). We also don't know if he's simply looking to make a large real-estate purchase or if there were tax incentives to those specific sales. This post is just to get some thought-provoking ideas out there as to why there might be more sell than buy orders being fulfilled. Either someone or some group(s) is(are) doing it on purpose, there's something coming that we do not know about, or it's just crypto being crypto. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Apr 2019 02:41 PM PDT I was browsing the XRP stats earlier and saw that the Ledger number on the website was at almost 47 million and going up one every two or three seconds. If I am not mistaken the ledger number is basically the size of the ecosystem isn't it? But I guess my real question is: Is that number important (thinking of the value of a network, metcalfes law..)? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Apr 2019 04:45 AM PDT I remember seeing an updated wallet with the new xrp logo, yet I don't see a link for it on ripples website and don't trust devs of other apps besides ripple. Is there any for iOS or is it still in development? [link] [comments]
Although may seem like this sideways pattern is endless Posted: 24 Apr 2019 12:03 AM PDT Do you remember .26 to .60 in 48 hours on sept 20? You remember .29 to .44 on christmas eve? When XRP comes it comes strong because it is truly a sleeping giant. No project has the amount of potential that XRP has built and Ripple is clearly preparing it's network for success. BAT is up 200% in 3 months Ripple hasn't moved in that time. This is not because it won't happen it's because it is coming. And when it comes it will come hard. Just hold this time. .20 to $3.00 was a lot to handle. Cheers, [link] [comments] |
