Posted: 25 Apr 2019 11:57 PM PDT i have a dell laptop and was wondering if i could set up a mining rig without a mother board and just connect the GPUS directly to the laptop or would i still need to buy the motherboard an just connect it to the laptop itself [link] [comments]

Question about resale of 1050ti Posted: 25 Apr 2019 03:26 PM PDT I have 3 1050ti's that i was mining on for a good year. I was wondering what a good listing price would be to off load them, so I can get better cards. I was thinking of fire selling them at $50 each but I open to suggestion. [link] [comments]
Building a compact rig using a mini desktop. Posted: 25 Apr 2019 12:09 PM PDT I plan on building a small rig with at most two GPUs. I would place it at a mountain hut where it would have lots of energy from solar panels and a mobile connection. Keeping the rig as compact as possible would be important as it would have to be brought back down for the winter and maybe relocated during the summer. For this reason, i thought of using a mini desktop PC ( i have a HP EliteDesk 800 G3 available) and attaching a GPU to it. Would this mini Desktop have sufficient power for mining? Are there any examples of how to bring such a rig into the size of a (resistent) suitcase? [link] [comments]
