PSA: Don't fall for the psyop - Maxwell secretly attacking CSW for being a fraud doesn't make him/blockstream "good guys" and it doesn't make CSW Satoshi either

    Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:23 PM PDT

If you saw the recent "slip up" where Greg "accidentally" revealed himself as /u/Contrarian_ the handle that obsessively posts about how CSW is a fraud, then you need to watch out for the following psyops and don't fall for them:

    1) "Gee, maybe Greg is a good guy." (He's not, he's total scum)

    2) "Obviously Greg is a bad guy, therefore maybe CSW is really Satoshi and we should back BSV." (Greg is a bad guy, but so is CSW)

Don't fall for the psyop/spin. You've been warned.

Some Evidence against Contrarian being nullc

    Posted: 24 Apr 2019 11:34 PM PDT

I think that people may have jumped the gun a little bit on these accusations. The user u/Contrarian__ is an 8 year old account here.

He also has also fixed bugs in a bitcoin cash related service, known as electrum cash, back in January 2018.

    https://github.com/Electron-Cash/Electron-Cash/pull/512

    https://np.reddit.com/r/bitcoinsv/comments/asc40q/craig_wright_accurately_accused_of_lying_under/ehbda9z/

Contrarian has also been fairly pro big block in the past.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/9qrba2/so_far_all_of_the_arguments_against_op/e8hmkim/

Contrarian also has posts back from 5 years ago, where he claimed that he wrote a website for his nephew, in order to explain bitcoin to him. Does Greg have even have a nephew? I am not sure, but that seems like a pretty big smoking gun.

    https://np.reddit.com/r/BitcoinBeginners/comments/20x772/bitcoin_protocol_explained_in_very_simple_language/

    bitcoin-eli5.com

I just find it a bit unlikely, that Greg created this account, 8 years ago, started adverting an intro to bitcoin website, and then started fixing bugs in bitcoin cash services back in january 2018, and then... uhh.. used this account for the sole purpose of exposing Craig?

Maybe? The narrative just doesn't fit quite right for me.

I just do not think that a copy pasted message is the sort of smoking that everyone is making it seem like. There could have been many reasons for that to have been copied. Maybe nullc was just screwing with people, and copied a message, for example.

Beware of the latest troll talking point: "The Market Has Spoken"

    Posted: 24 Apr 2019 10:58 AM PDT

The way that the state runs disinformation campaigns on projects that they don't like — such as Bitcoin Cash BCH — is that they change up the narrative on a regular basis and then they bombard people with that particular narrative for a while.

For us, we've seen that the trolls here change up the narrative every few weeks. This is just as effective as their "divide and conquer" strategy (which they have also used effectively on us), because it keeps us jumping around to defend new attacks every few weeks — instead of us focusing on growing our ecosystem & keeping factual information flowing & keeping the positive emotions high.

The current narrative (aka "talking point") for the trolls is:

    • "The Market Has Spoken"

    • "The Market Has Decided"

    • etc.

    Meaning that:

    • "Because the currently-traded value of Bitcoin BTC is higher than Bitcoin Cash BCH, that somehow the market has decided that BTC is the winner."

Just remember a few of these things:

    • Ironically, their very own argument works against them, because the market has ALREADY spoken. Just a few years ago, Bitcoin BTC owned nearly 100% of the cryptocurrency marketshare. There was no need for any other cryptocurrencies, because Bitcoin BTC worked as intended. Their marketshare has now fallen to below 50% in marketshare... and falling rapidly. Yes indeed, the market actually HAS spoken — and it is continuing to speak that Bitcoin BTC is no longer usable as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.

    • The current market price has absolutely no bearing on what the future market price will be. Remember the Blackberry stock price — even after the iPhone was introduced? The Kodak stock price — even after digital cameras were on the rise? The Blockbuster Video stock price — even after Netflix debuted? etc. etc. Sadly, there are many innocent BTC bag holders who have been brainwashed by extreme censorship and extreme forum manipulation in r/bitcoin and the other censored bitcoin forums, and they stand to lose a lot of money in the long run, as people start to wake up to the fact that Bitcoin BTC no longer works. Innocent people will be hurt by the Ponzi scheme known as Bitcoin BTC.

    • The current market price has absolutely no bearing on the usefulness, the utility, nor the future growth trajectories for a particular coin. For example, 99.9% of people who are throwing their money into Bitcoin BTC have never attempted to use it, have no idea why it is revolutionary nor why it is useful, and have no interest in ever using it. They don't even realize that Bitcoin BTC is no longer usable as a peer-to-peer electronic cash. They are simply investing in Bitcoin BTC because of "FOMO" or "lambos" or "HODL". They are simply hoping that other people buy in after them, so that their price will go up. This is called a Ponzi scheme.

    • Bitcoin Cash BCH carries on the original vision & the original roadmap & the original sentiments behind bitcoin. It goes back to the genesis block. It is the coin which is STILL usable as peer-to-peer electronic cash. Bitcoin Cash BCH is essentially free to use, it is instant, secure, easy to use, and reliable.

Comparison chart between Bitcoin Core BTC and Bitcoin Cash BCH

Stay strong & vigilant against the trolls. They are sponsored by the state to derail peer-to-peer electronic cash for the world.

Meanwhile, we are here to change the world in a positive direction.

Fed-Up Bitcoin Community Favors Censorship on Twitter

    Posted: 24 Apr 2019 08:56 PM PDT

To investors of #Bitcoin BTC. The reason the price never really goes up is likely because 10 years in, BTC doesn't have a solution that works for actual users. Their main scaling roadmap (LN) can't scale without BTC first scaling, which they say requires LN. ⟲ #BCH scales today!
