Importing the Secret Key into a new wallet? Posted: 04 Feb 2019 06:34 PM PST I currently have XRP in an online wallet on Gatehub.net. I created the wallet by importing my Secret Key. I now I want to move my XRP to a different local wallet (and not waste the 20 XPR). Can I just import my Secret Key again to the new wallet? If so, what will happen to my Gatehub account? Will they still have my Secret Key? If so, will I be able to use both wallets in parallell, or does everything move to the new wallet? And if Gatehub still has my Secret Key after importing it into a new wallet, and I want to have a new Key, I assume I can just send the XRP to a new wallet (and forget about the 20XRP in the old one)? But if I want to keep my 20XRP, I have to reuse the same Secret Key, which is less secure? [link] [comments]
Regarding Xrapid usage in countries without exchanges Posted: 04 Feb 2019 03:14 AM PST I understand that Mexico and the Philippines is a great start for deploying xrapid, since it´s a high volume corridor and two exhanges that are liquid enough exist in both countries. I am wondering how xrapid could work in countries that doesn´t yet have exchanges with have enough volume or don´t have digital asset exhanges at all. Can xrapid still be used somehow or do we expect that most countries will have at least one high volyme exchange further along the road? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2019 11:50 AM PST These two companies could decide to stop isung XRP at any ti.e and use something else. Other then the large amount of XRP Ripple owns, why should they keep using it? [link] [comments] |
