I was skeptical of decentralized exchanges but then I tried one. Posted: 02 Dec 2018 10:05 AM PST So I'm not new at crypto, but I'm not an expert either. I decided to pull my Neo from the exchanges and into the neon wallet earlier this year. I heard about travala and wanted to get some. I found the only place to really get it was on Switcheo with neo as the base pair. Dude, it was super easy and fast! You just link your wallet, make a deposit, make a trade, then withdraw your funds back to the wallet and disconnect. I have to say: I'm very impressed with the experience of my first decentralized exchange! I'm not sure skeptical was the right word, maybe I just didn't know enough about them so I wrote them off. It was so straight forward though, no tutorials needed or anything. Any others that people like? Edit: forgot to mention that you don't have to register or login or do KYC or wait very long to withdrawals or deposits. [link] [comments]

World First SERVERLESS Multi-Wallet Posted: 02 Dec 2018 06:13 PM PST Last week the Blocknet quietly unveiled a working alpha prototype of a SERVERLESS multi-wallet (Twitter Announcement) Unlike current multi-wallets, which rely on centralized electrum servers, the Blocknet's thin multi-wallet queries blockchain information via API from blocknet's decentralized network of nodes which host full blockchains (learn more here). Blocknet's lead developer (Dan Metcalf) announced in the Blocknet community chat that he is working to secure Venture Capital funding to build a crypto exchange to compete with Coinbase utilizing the Blocknet's decentralized exchange and thin-wallet technology. Is this the future? Trustlessly trading crypto on mobile devices could be a massive market for this thin-wallet tech. [link] [comments]

Who reads the whitepaper of a crypto-project? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 02:05 AM PST Just curious if you guys at some point read the whitepapers of the cryptocurrencies you want to invest in? I'm a fan (hence my site), but I always wonder what kind of research people do on coins before throwing money at it. John [link] [comments]
