    Bear market is blessing in disguise. All lessons learned in it.

    No doubt this bear market has taught me those lessons which I couldn't have learned anywhere else.

    Here are few lessons which I learned.

    1. There are only two categories of coins that are Bitcoin and non-Bitcoins.

    2. Crypto social media is full of candy sellers and their content is only to help themselves.

    You will find these candy sellers everywhere from YouTube to Facebook. They produce content only to sell you ads, affiliates or other stuff.

    For them you are just a commodity.

    1. Crypto market moves in cycles.

    2. Shill and FUDders come in waves with market cycles.

    3. Cold storage is only way to protect your assets.

    4. Finding a gem is just a gamble there is no such thing as gem because low market cap coin can easily go offline.

    5. All market cap websites give you wrong sense of market cap without keeping in account of total supply and volume on all exchanges.

    6. All exchanges are not transparent right from the start but they behave like a transparent exchange.

    7. Too many coins are just money grab.

    8. This bear market is a blessing in disguise because all weak projects and all weak hands will get out.

    9. HODL is only true for BTC.

    10. FOMO is your worst enemy.

    11. Technical Analysis are not all that wrong which you are usually told.

    12. Various exchanges are under staffed or don't have capability to run exchange but they are in this business like COSS, bitgrail etc.

    13. Patience is key to success don't chase price just relax and let the price chase your target.

    Disclaimer: These are the lessons I learned based on my experience and it's quite possible that in future I find myself wrong.

    I won't put this under Daily discussion megathread, because i know it won't get any views.

    So, I have a crazy idea. Let's convince Elon Musk to add a BTC wallet to each car. It would be an amazing step in the adoption phase, more people would actually USE cryptocurrencies at all. It would be splendid for paying tolls, gas, drive-ins...

    So, can we in all r/cc unite and get one thing done?

    I hate to admit loss, but it would be helpful, given the amount of loss, if someone could direct me to a source on how to write off crypto losses on taxes.

    I have lost a considerable amount of money on crypto and would like to recoup a tiny percentage of it on my taxes. Is this possible and if it is, what's the best way to go about it since I bought on several different platforms and then sent to Binance.
