ICO meltdown TenX Pipedream / Useless token en By Larry

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 03:59 PM PST

    • I think it's time to revisit TenX today. PAY token is now 93% from its all time high. People that bought during the ICO are now down ~30%. TenX is a company that never keeps the promises that it makes.

    • an 10 months now. Since WaveCrest (card issuer) was cut off by Visa in January, TenX hasn't had a working card.

    • Dr. Julian Hosp, TenX's president, was previously involved in a pyramid scheme Lyoness (Proof in voice https://streamable.com/6x88l). He has had a habit of saying that the card is just a few months away. He said this in January: https://twitter.com/julianhosp/status/959347559935434752

    • TenX said two months ago that the cards "are being shipped here in Singapore to internal team members right now." That's a great accomplishment and also no proof that that the cards actually work https://twitter.com/julianhosp/status/1036959209810788353

    • Now, Julian is claiming that shipping a card is a month or two away. In my opinion, that's very unlikely. Visa has previously stated that it will not support cards that allow spot conversion from crypto to fiat. I don't think they are changing their mind.

    • In the whitepaper, TenX's original intention was to give PAY holders 0.5% from all the card holders' spendings. Now obviously that would be a textbook security so TenX quickly backpedaled on that promise as well. Did some invest on that promise? Yes, likely a lot

    • In the whitepaper, TenX predicted that it will cross $1 billion transaction volume for 2018. They are only a billion off here because the volume has been 0 since January. Also $20 billion in 2019. Good luck! And what about trading ETFs? What happened to that?

    • TenX also lied about Vitalik being an advisor. When they were called out by Vitalik himself, they claimed they listed him because "he was part of Fenbushi who was an investor of TenX". He was later removed.

    • TenX's treasury is now twice as large as the marketcap of PAY tokens, which is now mere $50M (still way too high for a useless token).

    • Now is the time to ask this question: When do we start calling a company that never delivers and burns $9M a year a scam?

Mass adoption is just a matter of time...

I've accepted Antonopoulos' invitation to join the Earners' Club.

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 04:09 PM PST

When I discreetly asked my current employer if I can switch my paychecks from fiat to crypto, he only gossiped about it with my colleagues which resulted in coworkers mocking me in the halls with remarks like "Yo, I asked if my direct deposits can be made as gold bullion; keep your fingers crossed for me!"

So I started asking the open market. I want to say (out of frustration) that I must have asked 100 different corporate recruiters but really I think maybe only 15 said no before I found someone that said okay. And the irony is the new employer is one of the big banks we all know. Of course, this corporate giant isn't officially agreeing to this. I just found a very cool person working in payroll.

This post is my little, quiet celebration that I no longer buy bitcoin but earn it. I hope to eventually replace all my billers with new ones that will accept crypto so I don't have to bother converting any of it to fiat. But until then, I convert only enough coin, month by month, to clear mailed fiat checks.

With my wealth at rest in the security of the blockchain, my fiat bank is now only a fiat courier to me - a messenger boy that delivers small packets of fiat to people on my behalf that I owe money to who aren't accepting payment in crypto yet. But I am my own bank from now on...and it feels good.

This is the change happening. Like how Andreas reminded us of Nokia's blitzkrieg that devastated Kodak, more of us will continue this migration to the new world normal and, just like that, Wells Fargo will be another Blockbuster.

Blockchain Campus – Can Malta really become “Blockchain Island”? - Binance, OKEx are tenants

    Posted: 18 Nov 2018 12:57 AM PST

The Blockchain Campus has opened in Malta are looking to house some of the worlds larges Blockchain companies, and they are not wasting any time.

With powerhouse tenants already confirmed such as Binance, OkEX, Chiliz, Tron and Chain Accelerator, It looks like they have made their presence known in a relatively short time.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information around yet about the Blockchain Campus, but with companies like the above already confirmed how many others will follow?

Will Malta become the Blockchain hub that we have all been looking forward to?

If you have more info on this, feel free to share.

How does EOS retain its value and why does it consolidate its position in the crypto market cap?

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 04:59 PM PST

With how centralized EOS is, along with a number of things like security flaws, vulnerabilities, the fact that it's been reported that it isn't even a blockchain, just a distributed database with a year+ long ICO, despite all these negatives, how is EOS still #6?

If BCH no longer exist, then what is the bch chart in coinbase? Because it doesn't match ABC, or SV

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 12:30 PM PST

I moved my coins to binance for the split, but on coinbase I'm not seeing their price for bch chart match bchsv, or bchabc that I got on binance. Is coinbase going roag and splitting into a 3rd chain to keep the original bch alive? Or are they just displaying a fake chart to keep everyone there from freaking out? Cause at this point, if they dont add both, then they're doing their costumers a huge disservice with the value they're losing by only keeping 1, and if they are forking the original to stay alive, then they are holding onto a coin no other exchange supports anymore
