    HODLers of Last Resort

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:19 PM PST

I've been listening to a lot of Trace Mayer's discussions about HODLers of last resort. This has really resonated with me. There is a portion of us (arguably a growing portion) who are in this for the long haul. We don't care what the "exchange price" is today, tomorrow, at the end of the year, etc. The price could drop another 50%, and guess what, we're not selling! There will be marginal/fringe sellers who get scared at every price drop, but at a certain point, you are only left with these HODLers of last resort continuing to accumulate, hoard supply, and create a price floor. A hardened group of passionate followers numb to market emotions. If you think you can time markets and sell here to maybe buy back at a lower price eventually, good luck. Keep selling right into our stash; we'll be waiting here accumulating your bitcoins.
