My attempt at Lite-Chan (I can't lie Elon's recent tweets inspired me)

Today I lobbied my company (a large e-commerce retailer) to accept LTC and BTC.

They were surprisingly receptive and asked me to come up with a prototype. I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up or say it's a sure shot, but let's see where this goes. Other engineers were onboard as well. Will provide updates as things move forward!

Attempting to recover the old wallet part 2

    Posted: 31 Oct 2018 12:01 PM PDT

If you remember, I was trying to recover an old wallet in this post:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/9i3ijb/found_my_old_litecoin_wallet_and_it_may_save_my/

I had basically given up and then I found the original litecoin.dat file a couple of days ago and decided to attempt it once again.

Here is my current problem. I install the new Litecoin software, then delete the existing wallet and copy my old wallet in (and change the name to wallet.dat). However it now seems as though it doesn't actually import the wallet but is merely wiping it out completely - don't worry I have like five backups now.

Are there old windows binaries that I could download? I could try it on Linux but the required files are all out of date for a wallet with a date of January 2014.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated once again.

My small business is now contributing in a small way

    Posted: 30 Oct 2018 09:35 AM PDT

I own a small online business where we send kits that teach people new hobbies. When I'm not working on the business, I'm messing around with crypto and trying to learn as much as I can. Well, the day has come where these two worlds collide in the best way imaginable. I rebuilt the site and finally was able to add LTC as a payment option. It's a small thing but I'm pumped about it. I truly believe in LTC and circulation is key to its success, so trying to play a small part in its ultimate adoption. The plugin I used also added BTC, ETH, and unfortunately BCH... Anyways, thought I'd share.
