    Hey folks, I am still thinking about open sourcing LocalBitcoinCash because I am super uncomfortable holding other people money. I don't know the exact amount now but it's probably anywhere between a few grand to more than a million worth of cryptos. It is stressful thinking about it.

    But I have some concerns about open sourcing as well.

    1) Database - Where will the db reside? If it ends up in a centralize entity, then it seems like wouldn't be much different from now.

    2) Github Repository - I prefer not to hold the keys. I'm prepared to give over entire control but what if someone bad takes over? Another risk?

    3) Coding work - Who would be interested to work on the codes or get involved in this open source project? The existing codes do not scale so I think it has to be rewritten in another architecture. At the same time, I am worried about sabotage, as in some bad actor merge bad codes to steal the funds. So that's another risk I am worried about.
