Wifi cuts out when I start mining. Posted: 03 Oct 2018 08:16 AM PDT So I recently started using a small rig just one XFX R9 390 for now but once I start mining I get a problem where my USB wifi adapter just cuts signal over and over. I've looked up solutions online but the only one to work is using Ethernet. Sadly my rig is kinda too far away from my router to have the cable there 24/7 anyone have any ideas? [GPU-MiningRigs]Perfectmine.io - Mining platform with its own OS[MiningOS] Posted: 03 Oct 2018 01:19 AM PDT Website: https://perfectmine.io/ What is Perfectmine.io ? Perfectmine.io is a mining platform, with it's own mining OS based on Linux. It has a large variety of miners and algorithms that are always updated, and new ones are always added to the list. All of the rig registering and settings are done from the web interface. Also the user can control and manage the rigs on any device, smartphone or tablet. Choosing miners has never been easier. Miners can be changed from the Settings Menu. There is a setting for discovering faulty GPUs, and by enabling it, the system will block the faulty GPU after a number of failures. The user will receive notifications on the Telegram APP regarding the status of the rigs. And Perfectmine.io has fast responding support. You can test it for free with a 7 day trial of the Farm Package. After the trial is over, you will have a 3% fee, which is insignificant and done randomly, and you keep the Farm Package. FARM Package https://perfectmine.io/features Algorithms and miners https://perfectmine.io/algorithms Info regarding the OS: The OS is simple to use, just download and burn it onto a drive (HDD, SSD or USB -> 16-32 GB recommended) and mount it on the rig. There is no need for configuring any files or making any settings to the GPUs. Simply login to your perfectmine.io account, and from there you register the licenses from the rigs, you define pools on which you want to mine, and your done. Simple as that. If there will be any new miner available, it will be implemented as soon as possible with the auto-updates system. It also has all of the old and latest drivers for AMD and Nvidia GPUs, implemented in the OS, so there is no need for swapping GPUs because of the drivers. There is an UEFI version of the OS that can be used on PandaMiners. And many more. Requirements: AMD - R Series; RX 4xx, RX 5xx Series. Nvidia - almost all of them. HDD, SSD. USB -> 16 - 32 GB(32 GB recommended). At least 4gb of memory (over 8 GPUs you need more RAM) Video: A step by step tutorial: https://www.facebook.com/perfectmine.io/videos/598902640490137/ Social: Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/perfectmine.io/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/perfectmine_io?lang=en Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCejFaMp-ak2bhW6cR04jRqg [link] [comments]
Aorus 1080Ti warranty. Does it transfer? Posted: 02 Oct 2018 12:23 PM PDT I have a few 1080Ti from Aorus (Gigabyte). Doesn't he warranty transfer? I have seen some different theories. Anyone with actual experience with third party/used RMA? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Oct 2018 01:31 PM PDT ---> https://www.waterparkmining.com and Discord: https://discord.gg/SZB3wg8 Hey r/gpumining, another update on my quest to build the ultimate mining pools service. Prev post here I've now started adding CryptoNight coins to welcome AMD miners, starting with CryptoNight Heavy. Loki and Ryo online now. The most unique new thing is the CryptoNight Heavy profit-switching server. I've not seen this anywhere else (though perhaps I just missed it). Helps get the most out of your mining equipment with no additional effort. Additionally, optional auto-exchange means you can profit maximize on CN Heavy, then exchange and withdraw just one currency. I'll be adding more CN variants asap, but here's to getting started. Overall, a pretty great update I think. Thanks all! (I'd never done AMD mining before as I was an Nvidia miner. To learn about it, here is my first jank rig :) [link] [comments]
