question about litecoin core wallet Posted: 26 Sep 2018 05:21 AM PDT Hello. I just made a few exchanges with my coins, and now that I'm done, I want to move my newly acquired LTC into my wallet. However, before I move into my LTC desktop wallet, I checked to see if I had my public and private keys. I do not. I know my ltc core passphrase, and I verified by changing from the passphrase that I wrote down, and creating a new one. however, I noticed that I don't have my password. my question is, since I'm suspicious at my past-self from when I created the wallet this past January for not writing all of that information down... how do I create a new wallet in Litecoin core, so that I can make sure to have the password, keys, and passphrase? -- I see no option to do this in the desktop application. Please advise - I'm being cautious because I do not want to lose my money. [link] [comments] | ||
