What It Feels Like To Build a Cryptominer

I made this video about a year ago.

My mining habits changed a lot since then (upgraded rigs, using Linux, ...) but I tought I might share it anyways.

    ProgPow - GPU mining benchmarks??

    Posted: 25 Sep 2018 01:57 PM PDT

With this Algorithm possibly spreading like wildfire to more coins and possibly even Ethereum, what hash rates/power consumption are people seeing on their GPU??

    RX580 and AMD ProgPOW miner

    Posted: 25 Sep 2018 09:09 AM PDT

Anyone have their 580s mining on the ProgPOW miner for BCI? I've tried 18.5.1 and 18.3.4 drivers, neither worked. Both work well for ETH and XMR mining, but on AMD ProgPOW miner it literally started mining only on the lone 1070 ti card. Very strange.

Edit: Found that default AMD script needed --opencl-platform 1 to the end to force AMD mining.
