Any new interesting project to participate??

Fun thing about crypto world is that brand new project can be so much better than the old and famous ones.

With the mining profit becoming ehh... I'm thinking about switching to mining a new awesome coin thats at the very early stage. Maybe participate in the project development as well, since I have some business development experience.

    Any recommendation?

I preordered 2 2080ti and 2 2080 solely for GPU mining. FITE MEH!

The numbers in this thread are necessarily heavily rounded/approximated. Don't be a jerk and fite meh on them. No one knows what kind of hash a 2080/2080ti will get. There's lots of other things to fite meh on in this thread.

    I spent approximately $500 on a new rig, and $4,000 preordering 2 2080ti and 2 2080. I'm a winner, not a loser. FITE MEH!

Objections I've heard to doing this: 1) You'll never ROI!

    • Most businesses never turn a profit. I'll ROI eventually. WINNING!

    2) You'll only make like $1 per day!

    • For now. After things are optimized for them, and power issues are solved, I'll be making $5 per day! WINNING!

    3) You'll only make like $5 per day!

    • Sounds good to me! WINNING!

    4) If you bought 8 1080 ti for $4,000, and put them in your $500 rig, you'd be making $5 per day today!

    • How is that better than 4 2080/2080ti cards for $4,000?

    5) You'd earn $5 per day, not $1 per day. If it takes 3 months for your 4 2080ti/2080 to get optimized, that's 90 days. 90 days x $5 =$450 you lose, loser!

    • Yeah, but I'd be left with a rig of 1080tis, not 2080 and 2080ti. After 3 months, I will have experience using the 2080/2080ti. I will have them in hand, paying MSRP, as opposed to $200 over MSRP for each card as newbies transition over to mining with them. $200 over MSRP for each card is $800 I won't have to spend. I'll know how to set them up and how to make them not finicky. A lot of times once a way is made to make them profitable, by the time the cards are ordered and in hand, profitability is on the decline. Not for me! WINNING!

    6) There's no way to know if they will be optimized, to even earn $5 per day.

    • Really? $5 per day for these 4 cards is going to happen. Obviously if cryptocurrency fails then it will not happen. I don't see crypto failing forever at this point. Bear market in Ethereum/other altcoins will eventually be replaced with a bull market. I can wait. Faster/lower power vram. WINNING!

    7) You don't know that!

    • Fine, I'll mine with them for 3 months, and then sell them to gamers for MSRP. WINNING!

    8) Their prices will drop, you'll lose money!

    • OK, if crypto and Nvidia both fall all the way down, I'll lose $2000 selling these for a loss. So where should I put my $4,500 then, that's more of a sure thing? Stocks at ATH? Housing at ATH? If I buy coins now, and crypto falls all the way down, I'll have lost way more than $2,000. WINNING!

    9) You're being taken advantage of by Nvidia!

    • Meh. I'd prolly have bought them if they cost me $10,000. Personal experience is worth more than fast ROI. What business doesn't take advantage of their customers? My internet costs too much too, boo hoo, I cri everytim.
