    Over a year ago I introduced my better half to the world of crypto.

    Set her up with small amount of hodlings however as they were in cold storage she wanted an easy way to track her portfolio.

    I said to her to jump on to the app store and download blockfolio that way she could track them everyday...

    Almost everyday she's being commenting wow crypto has gone up/down/crazy today

    I'm just like... yeah that's crypto for ya

    She'd being saying... wow crypto has really been plummeting...

    I'm like I know honey... it will be back

    Then today she's on blockfolio next to me and I clock her portfolio.. spotting something really odd

    I'm like err... why have you got that in there???

    She's like.. what?

    I'm like... BCC???

    She's says.. what BitCoinCash?

    I'm like no honey.. that's Bitconnect!

    Poor girls been on one helluva virtual rollercoaster hahaha

    I don't go to an ATM and pull bills out because I think they'll be worth more one day. I take bills out of an ATM to spend them. This is how we should be thinking about cryptocurrency. I have it to spend it, not to hold on to it and hope it's worth more later.

    Be willing to trade fiat for crypto so you can spend crypto. Then spend it. Find restaurants that accept it, find mom-and-pop shops, online shops. Instead of getting something on ebay, check craigslist for sellers that ticked that "accept crypto" box.

    The sooner we stop looking at crypto as an investment and start looking at it as cash to spend, the sooner we'll get to the adoption we all want. At least, that's what I want to believe...
