Integrity Matters: Why XRP will Rise to the Top Posted: 08 May 2018 06:18 AM PDT https://xrphodor.wordpress.com/2018/05/08/integrity-matters-why-xrp-will-rise-to-the-top/ Integrity should matter when it comes to investing! In my latest blog, I explain its importance, and demonstrate how Ripple is currently battling those with a distinct lack of this characteristic. I include new information about two legal matters, including a strange nuisance lawsuit. The news from the Middle East is fast and furious: Navin Gupta provided moments of clarity to powerful influencers from the Middle East, and Dilip Rao is about to talk at one of the largest Middle East industry conferences. Lastly, Binance ads USDT pairings for XRP, and an Indian-based exchange adds XRP trading - starting today! Hope you enjoy the read & please leave any comments below Sincerely, -Hodor [link] [comments]

Nice Perspective of John Apruzzese, Chief Investment Officer of Evercore Wealth Management Posted: 08 May 2018 01:13 PM PDT "What is your view on bitcoin? The speculative mania from last year has died down. The conventional wisdom on Wall Street is that blockchain technology is significant but cryptocurrencies are the closest thing to tulip bulbs that we've seen in a long time. I think that's wrong. Cryptocurrencies are real and here to stay and have a true economic purpose. Bitcoin is a topic unto itself. What is interesting are the others—ethereum, ripple, litecoin. They're a completely new species—not equities, not bonds. Why do we need them? Because there's a need for open-source global standards. Just think about http, the software that allowed for websites, or the underlying software for email. You wouldn't want any entity to own it because it's a global standard. In the future, we will need a few more open-source global standards. But the coders would like to get compensated. That's the purpose: It's a way to compensate the people designing and the early adopters. You eventually want the network effect, but you have to initiate it." [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 May 2018 07:19 PM PDT "Banks also seem to be shifting toward viewing fintech companies as partners and enablers rather than disruptors and competitors. Incumbents are realizing the need to take advantage of fintech capabilities to grow business, retain existing customers, and attract new ones, some of whom were previously unbanked. Meanwhile, without access to a client base, client trust, capital, licenses, and a robust global infrastructure, the new fintech companies will discover that there are limits to their growth." Parliamentary committee reacts to Mr Martin Walker Posted: 08 May 2018 02:52 PM PDT This likely won't be up for long, but for those who didn't watch the live stream in it's entirety, these three gentlemen's reaction to Mr Walker's endless witless drivel sums up the entire proceedings. https://s7.postimg.cc/pppf1l8d7/Dcr_RBj1_X4_AAEDZu.jpg When they said that his "biggest fan" was going to be there, Walker clearly misunderstood. Priceless. [link] [comments]

Ripple price follows market but without a rally... Posted: 08 May 2018 08:06 AM PDT I just wanted to get your opinion on what would it take, in the current circumstance, to see another rally of Ripple. So far, we have seen a rebound across the market, but some coins have clearly outperformed others and shined during bull runs. However, Ripple was pretty much only following the market/Bitcoin trend without much divergence. I believe the above was caused by lack of groundbreaking news. Don't get me wrong, we hear positive news all the time, but I think we need sth big to move the price up significantly. What do you think that will be and when. Are there other cryptocurrencies using blockchain for global payments? Posted: 08 May 2018 10:23 AM PDT My excitement and investment in Ripple is due to the enormity of the problem they are solving. Since the problem is so vast and well-known, shouldn't there be a flood of entrepreneurs using blockchain to revolutionize the global payments and money transfer sector? [link] [comments]

Could US pulling out of Iran deal affect cryptos? Posted: 08 May 2018 12:09 PM PDT So, hear me out. Trump is putting the "highest levels of sanctions" on Iran ever imposed, supposedly. He says anybody who deals with Iran will also be in the crosshairs. The thing is, most of the world thinks that the Iran deal is a good thing. They won't just cut off Iran because they are adhering to the agreement which was signed by many countries. If Trump starts to try and penalize countries like Germany and other euro-nations for allowing international companies to use their banking systems with relation to Iranian funds they could very well turn to cryptos. Obviously, this is all speculation but it would be cool! [link] [comments] |
