Let's spread the word to Kijiji.ca Posted: 04 May 2018 04:50 AM PDT I live in Canada and kijiji is definitly the best classified site to use. I use it frequently but unfortunately, they don't have the means to search for crypto friendly sellers/buyers as craigslist do. I recently contacted their customer support suggesting they add this feature and their site and they responded in a very positive way! Here's a translation of their answers (was originaly in french): "It's an excellent suggestion. I can very well see the advantages for you and many other members of our community. I'll pass your suggestion to our developement team so they can analyze it and hopefully implement it." Afterwards, I tweeted their twitter account the same thing: https://twitter.com/TibidonQC/status/987297435843284992 Their answer: "Never know what the future holds!" I call upon you to help spread your love for crypto and motivate kijiji to add a way to show that sellers/buyers accept crypto! You can reach them on Twitter on @Kijiji You can also contact them on their website https://help.kijiji.ca/helpdesk/contact-us/ as a General Suggestion/Feedback. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 May 2018 04:55 AM PDT I bought my friend 1 litecoin as a wedding gift for his wedding in September. This will be the first crypto he has ever received. What is the best way I should give it to him so that it will be easy for him to figure out and also memorable. (I'm betting it will be one of the most memorable regardless) [link] [comments]

Buffet would invest in a Picasso for all the reasons he says he would never invest in crypto. Posted: 03 May 2018 11:01 AM PDT Buffet recently clarified that crypto (Bitcoin/Litecoin) is..."nothing, there is nothing behind it," it "doesn't produce anything - like a farm, or a factory, or an apple tree," therefore, "the only way you are going to make money is to accept that Bitcoin is gambling and that you will need to find the next guy who is willing to pay more that you did." I recently got back from a year in Malaga Spain, home of Picasso. Hypothetically lets say I am having a yard sale that Warren, Diamon, OR any BIG NAME nay-sayer who is sure bitcoin is going bust to zero came to. Next, lets say they all notice a particularly UGLY painting I brought back from Spain. Upon closer inspection, Picasso's signature appears to be on it. Everything looks authentic. They bring in a expert and he confirms it is a real Picasso. Without knowing ANY more, would BUFFET and his crypto hating friends think it would be an excellent return on investment to buy the Picaso off me RIGHT NOW? Would they trip over themselves to outbid each other at my yard sale? Yes they would! Ask yourself why? But I would then say, "Warren, this is just an old canvas with some paint on it - it is ABSOLUTELY good for NOTHING. By your own rules IT PRODUCES NOTHING (set aside that Buffet doesn't understand the utility features of crypto). Sorry, you can't have this because I don't want to make you a hypocrite." So why would Buffet gladly take a risk on a Picasso?: Because it has a well established track record of only going up to incredible values AND BECAUSE enough time has passed from Picasso's first paintings to establish a clear trend. Think about those first local buyers in Malaga who saw Picasso's artworks. Some hated it, said it was the stupidest thing they had ever seen, others thought, this is very cutting edge and interesting, sure I will buy one. With every day that passes I am more hopeful that LTC/BTC will be seen not only for their utility, and not just for FOMO investment - but for being like the works of Picasso - an incredibly great investment. Posted: 03 May 2018 01:16 PM PDT I watched a video from Crypto Capital Venture on YouTube concerning the marketing for Litecoin. My solution would be for Litecoin to have an official poster or flyer that could YOU could hang around your area and get the conversation going. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2018 10:08 PM PDT For some reason my wife purchased Litecoins on behalf of a friend back about 4 months ago without telling me.. crazy.. Looking at the price graphs, I think this would have been around or just before the price spiked.. Now my wife and her friend want to sell ASAP since she said she's already lost money and doesn't want to lose the rest.. I think its only about $100 invested at the moment. I think since its not alot of money just wait it out for the long term to see what happens. Whats other ppl's opinions ? [link] [comments]
Minor financial emergency. Is there a way to sell to USD within an hour? Posted: 03 May 2018 11:02 AM PDT So I am 100% out of cash and only have crypto left, with most being in ltc. Is there a way to sell for USD quickly? I am trying to pay for an Xray out of my network [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2018 02:16 PM PDT i have my backup phrase from my wallet before the recent update that erased that wallet and made me create a new one. When i try to recover those funds loaf wallet wants me to erase my current wallet so i can recover the old one. Ive moved my funds so its not an issue but when i put in the 12 words for the current wallet the app crashed and nothing happened. Is there another wallet i can enter the 12 words into or is loaf wallet the only one? [link] [comments] |
