Please explain to me how voting/ consensus works Posted: 02 May 2018 01:13 PM PDT Can someone compare voting in Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash networks? Like is there an official way to vote for changes in Bitcoin? Bitcoin Cash? Or is it always just the longest chain wins? I read that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin, because bitcoin forked off when it made Segwit. Is that true? But then BCH forked off later, so is the real bitcoin still out there? Did Satoshi ever come up with a method of voting on the "real" bitcoin? [link] [comments]

What is the trend of Bitcoin cash in the future? Posted: 01 May 2018 11:49 PM PDT After being separated from Bitcoin, bitcoin cash is trying to establish it's own blockchain, like living a life without his rich father. No like what most of people thought, there is no actual fight between the father and son. On the contrary, they are together establishing the whole cryptocurrency system filled with economic stimulation and game rule. People said that those blockchain without greater hashrate will gradually disappear, but for now, it isn't true. With more and more branches occurred being separated from Bitcoin blockchain, there are many different kinds of miners on the internet. So who did mine on Bitcoin cash? Firstly, there are still investors who believe in Bitcoin cash that can be dilatated from 1 MB to 8MB. Secondly, some miners would choose the cheap mill to mine Bitcoin cash, as it's easy to obtain the Bitcoin cash in the previous. It's a speculated behavior. Finally, the main point is the rate. Some investors still can not figure it out why did they can obtain Bitcoin cash in sometimes. Anyway, it still needs to spend time on seeing if Bitcoin cash can make a profit for a long-term. Still needs to keep eyes on it. [link] [comments]
BCH will start a new round of hard fork in May Posted: 02 May 2018 02:40 AM PDT BCH will start a new round of hard fork in May: the block capacity can be up to 32 MB. This week, Bitcoin ABC developers officially announced that the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network will be fork on May 15. In addition to the announcement, the development team has added a new consensus rule to its newest client, Bitcoin ABC 0.17.0. [link] [comments]
There is something you need to know about Bitcoin cash. Posted: 01 May 2018 07:29 PM PDT Bitcoin cash is a decentralized point-to-point digital cash, which doesn't need central bank and the third-party. Comparing with Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash is the extend of decentralized point-to-point digital cash, also the branch of Bitcoin blockchain ledger. Further more it allows increasing and expansion. As we all know, Bitcoin code limited within 1MB on every Blockchain, equally 3 transactions every second. This capacity blocks the development of Bitcoin, and the Bitcoin price is still rising up continually, so many investors leave the market of Bitcoin. Therefor, Bitcoin cash comes, with 8MB on every Blockchain, which can solve the issue Bitcoin brought. Maybe you have something confused about Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash, If someone has Bitcoin that means he/she has Bitcoin cash in the same time within the Blockchain of 478558. Any transaction after the branch of 08/01 is totally independent, which means that Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin don't belong to each other. In order to avoid the transaction repeatedly, Bitcoin cash use a new Hash of signature like SIGHASH_FORKID. [link] [comments]

FB, Google, Twitter crypto-ad ban theory Posted: 01 May 2018 02:08 PM PDT I work in the digital marketing space for crypto, bitcoin cash specifically. The recent crypto-ad bans on social platforms have come with a bag full of frustrations. I understand that people were scammed by bogus ICOs and other ponzi schemes. But the people that don't take the time to read (or understand) a white paper, or think at all about doing research, are the same ones that buy ab crunchers from mike on tv at 2 am. One bad apple spoils the bunch, I suppose. Before we all put on our tin hats. I don't necessarily think social platforms have banned crypto-ads because of collusion with the big banks, but I also don't believe they are doing it for our best interest. We've all witnessed how much of our interest they have in mind. I do believe, however, that they have seen this space as a way to add to their profound amount of capital and market share. [now put on the tin hat] I'm convinced Facebook, Google, and Twitter have their own crypto projects going on behind the scenes. As they're developing, they use the "ICO scams" as a reason to boot all competition off of their platforms. Why let your competitors advertise on your platform? Once they are ready for launch, they are the only ones controlling the entire crypto market on their billions of users. It doesn't even have to be advertisements necessarily. Hell, they can build their coin directly into the platform. But again they don't want a user to have the chance of saying, "oh that targeted ad for bitcoin cash looks really interesting", and possibly take away from the interest in their coin. So they remain banned. I think this is something possibly years away, but it makes sense for them to make the ban as far out as possible. The closer to the release date the more suspicions would be raised. Hopefully I'm wrong and they find better ways to vet scams and let established projects back into the space. It would make my job a lot easier. But I'm not so optimistic. (Disclaimer: I'm going to leave this here so when it comes anywhere near being true I can boast ;-) [link] [comments] |
