Malta To Allow use of Crypto by $100bln Igaming Industry

    Posted: 01 Apr 2018 02:17 PM PDT

The Malta Gaming Authority, one of the world's biggest authority when it comes to online gaming, has just issued a white paper to consult on the use and acceptance of Crypto by online gaming companies. This is massive news for crypto in general. Malta's IGaming industry, an industry that has huge international companies like Betsson, is thought to generate over $100 billion in turnover. By allowing gaming companies to start accepting crypto, Malta once again has placed itself on the forefront as a crypto jurisdiction. This follows the news of major exchange, Binance, opening up in Malta as well as the imminent introduction of the new legislation regulating ICOs.

This follows a speech by Malta's Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat said that cryptocurrency will become the "future money". Prime minister Muscat asked his audience: "Have any of you ever thought about what gives paper money its value when it's ultimately just pieces of paper? It is because society attributes value to it. Now some people, who in my opinion are geniuses, are arguing that value can similarly be attributed to virtual currencies."

If Malta's government will continue in this approach, the island will inevitably see more companies using blockchain technology embarking on Maltese shores.

    Bitcoin long-term trend line - 2010-18 - what’s in store now?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2018 11:29 PM PDT

Thought I'd post my actual imagined trend line drawn out on the long-term BTC price log graph, thanks to u/RedFountain input - https://imgur.com/gallery/9iF3t . And this is RedFountains recent take on it, with a similar mean trend line to mine and some interesting technical discussion which I'm sure he won't mind me posting - https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BLX/D77ZTaQb-Bitcoin-macro-view-non-linear-regression/

And BTC's still at 6.9K today, which is just below that long-term trend line I felt was the best fit on the graph! History shows it can go lower, and stay lower for 12-18 months - anyone catching the falling knife?

    Bitcoin - Trading Made Easy

    Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:05 AM PDT

Trading doesn't need to be so difficult. It's plausible to trade with very simple way. Here's an example:

On the daily chart every time RSI takes oversold position together with StochRSI it's about to have a reversal. In to advanced version other indicators may be applied such as volume, Moving Averages and etc. Just to get enough of confirmations that it's going to happen.

Bitcoin just took oversold position on the both indicators and let's see how it's going to play out. 😉

Best websites to margin trade and short

    Posted: 02 Apr 2018 09:44 AM PDT

I currently use Binance for all of my day / swing trading and while they are limited I want to know what you guys think is the best website to be able to margin buy and short the market. I know bitfinex is highly recommended but I normally play with a few thousand and not near the 10k limit that they require for new accounts. Thanks! In the USA

Need urgent help to make a decision, from a REKT ed noob

    Posted: 02 Apr 2018 01:44 AM PDT

Hi there, I am a noob on trading, I was just HODLing and trading Alts before. I made the one of the biggest mistake in my life. (Don't ask me, I don't know what the X was I thinking) I entered short at the bottom 6480 of btc, went all in, with high leverage. And second mistake is I did not cut loss or set up stop loss. so I am holding the short until now. My position will be liquidated at 7310, so it is quite tight now. I can still cut loss now and lose 75% of the money. OR hope that price will re-test the low when it hit 7200, and hold it until then. If you were me, what will you do? I put in a lot of my entire saving (60%), it won't kill me, but obviously it hurt a lot. Not in mood to entertain trolling, please advise.

most major exchanges just copying finex at the moment $ for $?

zero volume on bitstamp, then @ 1:15, moves through a 4k wall to stay with bitfinex, twice the volume of the initial rally ... despite this buy, no other markets flinch, and btc which up until this point had same volume trends as eth, doesn't move either. bitstamp: BTC/USD had zero volume while this happened.. literally 3 coins were traded each minute this went on.

It seems like both stamp/gdax just whatever bitfinex does to the tune of 4k buy orders... which at that volume must be the exchange no? Who else is going to buy 4000eth in 2 minutes just to stay toe to toe with finex.

    edit kraken/gmni looks similar...

Bitcoin is on the way back for an impulse to around $11,800's area after breaking the $5900's lows of last Feb and then we can see another steep break of that Feb low again, let us see what this week hides for us, trade with care and Cheers.
