Litecoin Devs/Experts: What is possible for Litecoin? Whats your vision for LTC in Blockchain space? Posted: 02 Apr 2018 05:27 AM PDT Blockchain is so new to the world that its hard for us non-techy, blockchain noobs to make informed, educated speculations. Devs/Enthusiasts: Given all your info you've come across on the future of Blockchain, what do you think is possible for LTC? [link] [comments]
Charlie Lee proposes increase in litecoin from 1mb to 32mb! Posted: 01 Apr 2018 04:17 PM PDT Charlie Lee was recently quoted in an interview given today to suggest big changes are coming to litecoin. Charlie specified that he wants to see 32mb blocksfor litecoin because "anything bcash can do, litecoin can do better, and four times faster!" The interviewer April Foles suggested that there is plenty of unused space now and other priorities should probably take precidence, Charlie Lee admitted "Look, doesn't 32 just sound like a cool number? I mean, 1 is so low, and 32 is so much better. Plus I sold at ATH and am secretly a lover of Craig Wright. Wait, you aren't recording this are you? " Happy April fools all. Be good to each other. UK Locations to Sell for Litecoin? Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:35 AM PDT I was wondering if any of you know of places in the U.K. I can sell my iPad Pro for Litecoin. I want to sell it to buy more Litecoin. So why not cut out the fiat to crypto part and sell it directly! [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:00 AM PDT Not sure if I'm in the right place posting this, but since Abra has been hyped here for being based on litecoin smart contacts, I figured it's as good a place as any. I recently signed up for Abra to get away from CB, gave them my sensitive info, go to make a USD deposit and everything looks fine. Next day I look and it says my transaction was cancelled. I figured I must have entered something incorrectly. So I go to try again and get a message "your account has been locked, USD deposits are disabled" I figure something is up with my sign up info, so I contact Abra and they say something to the effect of "your account is locked, nothing you can do. We also won't tell you why but feel free to deposit BTC." As if I'm going to send BTC to them vs an exchange I already trust. This sure is some bullshit if I ever saw it. Some app reviews seem to suggest that I'm not the only one having problems. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Apr 2018 06:47 AM PDT I sent a transaction yesterday and I'm not sure how to check if it will forever be stuck in limbo: https://coin.cz/address/LMKW6Po3pcdo8N6p8F19xi2agMzknKF2uF I'm sure other people have these questions so I'm more interested in how to answer them rather than what the answer is: Was my mining fee too small to compete with network congestion at the time? Is there a risk that my mining fee was so small the transaction will never confirm? Is there any way to predict when confirmation will occur? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Apr 2018 09:21 AM PDT Everyday good journalism is being done on cryptocurrency. And the journalism done by creditable news outlets like Bloomberg and MIT Review paints the horror of the currency world. Today is no different. Researchers at ETH Zurich has stated that Bitcoin market value ranges from "22-44 Billion" which is far less than what the coin is being traded at. This means that less and less people are actually using the coin and the value of all currency will continue to tumble. This coinsides with the post I've made on regulations, as to why there is so much volatility for a currency. It's great that the young generation sees the potential for blockchains, however very few see why each existing currency is being held up. As soon as an exchange or a wallet are actually able to self regulate themselves and meet the rules that are being request by the regulatory systems the price for currency will continue to fall and fall until it's only value is what it was when it started, just people trading it for themselves. Guys, if you want LiteCoin to succeed, using the coin for your purchases will not be enough. Everyone needs to start demanding for some SRO. That's the first starting block. As of now there is none of this. [link] [comments]

Businesses sectors that can shape the future Posted: 02 Apr 2018 02:09 AM PDT I was talking to a friend of mine about how blue ray won the war against hd-dvd because of the porn industry. What industry can do the same for crypto? And specifically Litecoin? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Apr 2018 01:58 PM PDT Hopefully somebody here will know of a solution, or recommended next action. LoafWallet updated on my iPhone 2 days ago, and obviously I do have a seed key back-up. I've been super busy and haven't recovered my wallet until today using the seed, no matter how many times I sync, reinstall the app or restart the device my LTC balance shows as 0. I've also attempted to recover and sync on an android device using the latest version of the app, and the issue is the same. I'm 100% sure the seed is correct, I have this stored in two separate locations (offline, of course and individually copied from the master). Is there a sync delay, or something else I'm just not aware of with the apps? I have waited for the syncs to complete all the way from Dec 2013 to April 2018 also. Thanks in advance!
