- Once again Core supporters threaten with lawsuits and government intervention to try to get their way. This is just pathetic and not the foundations of what Bitcoin was built on. These are not bitcoiners.
- The "Fidelity Problem" has existed since 2015. Fidelity Investments wanted to flip the switch on their beta program, but it would instantly fill Bitcoin's capacity. When BCH upgrades to 32MB in May it will give further confidence to entrepreneurs and companies to build and experiment on BCH.

Bitcoin Cash is upgrading on May 15 to 32MB max block limit Posted: 24 Apr 2018 08:24 AM PDT The Bitcoin Cash upgrade is happening in just a few short weeks. :) In a little more than three weeks time the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network will fork by upgrading the block size limit to 32MB and incorporate additional functionalities to the protocol. Currently, the entire community is preparing for the change as development teams release new code, while users and infrastructure providers upgrade their full node implementations. Read more: Bitcoin Cash Proponents Prepare for the Largest Block Size Increase Ever What's changing with the upgrade in May? Besides the block limit being unleashed to the maximum available 32 MB network protocol message size, several Bitcoin script operation codes (op codes) are being added. Additionally, the OP_RETURN data carrier size increases to 220 bytes. How jratcliff63367 Has Changed: from Reasonable Bitcoiner to Rabid Core Troll Posted: 24 Apr 2018 09:27 PM PDT He has just made a post about playing down Core Devs Control in Bitcoin Core, in reply to u/BriefCoat
I remember enjoying reading his posts in 2015 before his epiphany! and hence I remembered him writing about Opt-In-RBF
it was merged despite
Now doing my due diligence looking for this post I came across a few Gems that I would like to share from u/jratcliff63367
Next time he is spitting venom, show him who he used to be. I will post the rest that I found in the comments. [link] [comments]

This Excitement and Energy is what Bitcoin felt like in 2013!!! Posted: 24 Apr 2018 09:29 AM PDT For anyone that wasn't around in 2013, THIS is what it felt like to be into bitcoin and on Reddit in 2013! Seemingly every day, new and exciting ideas would pop out of nowhere, new services and applications were proposed and implemented, people were working on micro transactions in games, websites, the moon was the limit! That feeling of excitement and energy slowly drained out of the community as Core devs began to pour cold water on every new use case. Just this week with Memo.cash launching and the torrent-tracker proposal, this kind of permissionless innovation was what used to be encouraged on BTC, and Core / Blockstream ruined it. They chased out Vitalik and what would become Ethereum. All that value ETH has today could've been in bitcoin instead. And ETH today is having trouble scaling, but BCH is having no trouble scaling, we could've solved that too. The worst was $50 transaction fees, unconscionable. But that feeling of energy and excitement is back with BCH! This time here to stay! Revel in it! This is the heart of the revolution in finance in the world, we will improve so many peoples lives with BCH! I'm not a dev, but I say thank you to all the devs who are making awesome applications on BCH! [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2018 03:21 PM PDT Today I read the top thread on r/Bitcoin with over 6k upvotes saying it's "not ok" for bitcoin.com to relabel BTC as Bitcoin Core. And the hundreds of comments spitting toxic, vile hatred at the Bitcoin Cash project, because the corrupt moderators there have silenced anyone who might present an opposing argument. But today I also feel empowered. Because I sent out over 500 Bitcoin Cash bumper stickers in the last week to over 450 people in 19 countries while all this other bullshit was going on. The typical bumper sticker is seen by 20-30 people each day. In the next 6 months, 2.5 million people will be exposed to the Bitcoin Cash project. In the next year, over 5 million people. And if I keep shipping this many weekly, it will literally reach tens of millions in the next six months alone. It may be just a bumper sticker. But the butterfly effect is real. As are the effects of simple "awareness". So you can be sure you're going to see the effects of this ripple into results, over the next year and a half. Thank you to everyone who supports this project, and actually understands what we are trying to accomplish. What our values are. And why we hate what bitcoin has become. Keep educating people that this is about taking bitcoin back from corporate control of its codebase. And returning it to a decentralized, on-chain system controlled by nobody, like it was intended. To all of you asking why we need a 32 MB cap, I say... Posted: 24 Apr 2018 03:30 PM PDT Go back to 2011. Bitcoin blocks were not nearly full. Now, make the following argument: "don't worry, we'll just increase the cap above 1 MB when we get closer." See how that played out. Ideally there would be no cap at all and the supply of transactions would in real time be determined by the producers (miners). Until then, we need the cap to be much, much higher than the usage to continue to spur investment and give confidence to entrepreneurs and merchants. Remember, we didn't anticipate the Blockstream/Core takeover on Bitcoin 1.0 BTC, but we would be foolish not to assume they'll try again on Bitcoin 2.0 BCH. I already see people lurking around these forums saying things like, "Why do we need to fork?" and introducing FUD. (I hate that term, but it describes what's going on so perfectly.) Bitcoin Cash Currently 26.88% of the combined hashate Posted: 25 Apr 2018 02:10 AM PDT While variance is a factor, currently Bitcoin Cash enjoys a 26.88% of the total hashrate. With the new epoch just 2 days away, this trend could spell serious trouble for Bitcoin Core. A slowing block rate has already driven up core fees 600% and further hashpower losses can easily trigger even greater hashpower losses... [link] [comments]
**"The network is robust in its unstructured simplicity."**-Satoshi Whitepaper Posted: 24 Apr 2018 10:32 AM PDT Nodes work all at once with little coordination. They do not need to be identified, since messages are *not routed** to any particular place and only need to be delivered on a best effort basis. Nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.* Why doesn't LN work like this? [link] [comments]

I fought for Bitcoin Cash, not Bitcoin! Posted: 24 Apr 2018 02:56 PM PDT I see posts here showing that Bitcoin.com and a few other sites are starting to drop the Cash part of our favorite cryptocurrency, Bitcoin Cash. Initially, I didn't like the name Bitcoin Cash that much. I found it too long and awkward. But it grew on me. In late August / early September 2017, I sold all of my Bitcoin for Bitcoin Cash. I doubt many here did the same back then. It wasn't easy, as at that time it was questionable if Bitcoin Cash would survive (we still had that quirky EDA, the price went into a slump in September/October, few exchanges supported it, etc). Nevertheless, I held on, having to overcome my fear of losing it all, because I couldn't support a coin (Bitcoin) that uses censorship, sockpuppets and other cowardly tactics to drive market adoption and silence dissenting voices. I have spent god knows how many hours on Bitcoin Cash, reading countless posts up to late in the night, writing hundreds if not thousands of comments here, on Youtube, on Twitter, defending Bitcoin Cash. I have corrected countless noobs and trolls that the proper name of our coin is Bitcoin Cash, not bcash, and this for the reason we all know. I get the Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin slogan, it's a clever marketing gimmick and a truism, and I am cool with it. I have used Bitcoin Cash in quite a few transactions, even if it might have been easier to use other coins at the time. I have also annoyed quite a few merchants, pleading them to accept Bitcoin Cash for payment. With our combined efforts, we really have carved out a niche for this coin, and now even major media outlets are starting to see Bitcoin Cash as cool and hip. So why are Bitcoin.com and other sites throwing out of the window those branding efforts that make us stand out? What is going on here? I think this is terribly counter-productive. My preferred coin is called Bitcoin Cash, I have fought for it, I am invested in it, I don't want it to be confused with that bridled coin called Bitcoin, so use the name of our coin properly, for God's sake! And if the time ever comes where Bitcoin dies, then people will naturally start to use the Bitcoin name to refer to Bitcoin Cash... Sorry for the long ramble. Peace. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2018 09:07 AM PDT Obviously, technically it is a hard fork, but due to the misinformation campaign by Blockstream there is a lot of negative connotation surrounding the term. So it is extremely foolish to use this term. I see prominent figures on the community continuing to use the term "fork" or "hard fork". How foolish. The public doesn't care how an upgrade mechanism works, just like your grandmother doesn't care how an email reaches its destination. The world is not filled with tech savvy people. Just because you are tech savvy doesn't mean everyone else is. Call it a "network upgrade" or "update". [link] [comments]
Bitcoin.com customer complains to Roger and Roger responds - EPIC if true... Posted: 24 Apr 2018 10:23 AM PDT Hey Roger, You BCash scammer. BCash BCash BCash BCash. On 16th April at 00:14 hours I purchased $1000 of "Bitcoin" from your BCash scam site Bitcoin.com I didn't know you were scamming me. I thought I was buying Bitcoin supported by Blockstream and Samson Maw and FluffyPony and WhalePanda. You didn't send me this Bitcoin you sent me shitcoin BCash. I recieved 1.28 BCash - the price was $780.78 I now see you scammed me. I should of recieved 0.12 Real Bitcoin as the price was 8330.42. I demand you fix this scam you made now or I am going to write to the FBI and the CIA and CNN and ABC and NBC and BBC. Fuck you BCash Scammer Greg Minsick Dear Greg, I am sorry you felt that you were mislead by my site bitcoin.com. Bitcoin Cash is clearly Bitcoin (BCH) as the site claims, and Bitcoin Core is BTC. As with all investments you should investigate what you are buying and if you read the Satohsi Whitepaper you'd see that quite clearly you were buying Bitcoin. I am a good man who has done everything in my power to further the adoption of Bitcoin throughout the world. Google any conference speak I make wether it is 2012 or 2018 you shall see I always have the same consistent message. Although I am not obliged to, as an act of good faith I shall right this situation for you. Send me back the 1.28 Bitcoin (BCH), and I shall send you 0.12 Bitcoin Core (BTC). Regards Roger Ver Hey Roger, Thanks scammer. You tried to scam me but failed. I am happy to now have 0.12 of the real Bitcoin. Fuck you Greg Minsick Hello again Greg, I am glad you are happy that all has been rectified. I thought I'd inform you that I balanced up the coins and found the following:- The 1.28 Bitcoin Cash that you did have is now worth $1888. The 0.12 Bitcoin Core that you now have is worth $1121. I wouldn't like to profit from this "scam" so I have sent the additional $767 I have made in profit on this deal to @eatbch as a lightning fast Bitcoin (BCH) payment. Best Regards Roger [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Apr 2018 12:31 PM PDT Hey guys! Much love. I used to be a Bitcoin Cash troll once upon the time. Typical mass down-voting anything relating to bitcoin cash, and saying "derrr Bcash, lmao". Anyways I have decently come a long way. I finally pulled the plug on LTC mainly due to the community/technology. I made a post a while back wanting to learn more on the Litecoin smart contracts and got nowhere. I messaged several developers, and got no responses. The last straw was figuring out Litecoin foundation was scammed out from litepay when they gave them some money for the development. How can these guys get away for so long and not be questioned by developers of the litecoin foundation? It was ALL hype, and a select few made millions riding the hype as litepay release date loomed. Good for them I guess, but the valiant LTC miners and long-term holders missed out and where hurt once the cat got out of the bag. It seemed as if LTC was made just as a potential to make money as side kick bitcoin, and not a superior coin or technology. Hell, its straight up touted as the "silver to bitcoin's gold", or some variation to that. How cucked is that? It will forever be second to a technology that I feel has become too centralized. They are literally following in the same footsteps I do not agree with (segwits and LN). Then I look to their daddy (bcore) and see how they have, in the past and current, silence dissenters or even people who have questions that counter their thoughts. How is that ok? I have been closely monitoring this sub, and people here are very welcoming, even to past admitted trolls. Here are some trades to prove the very strategic moves I made prior to massive rise in Bitcoin Cash. I dumped all of my litecoin for Bitcoin Cash a long time ago! https://imgur.com/hTvZdwf https://imgur.com/Uk4xwpt I dumped litecoin and it paid off handsomely. I need help though. Admittingly, I have very poor knowledge with bitcoin cash. With litecoin, I was able to have a wallet with all previous years of transactions. From what I understand, that is impractical for bitcoin cash? I want to ensure I have the bitcoin cash in my own wallet for the fork, but I can't seem to figure out the best way. I understand I need to have my bitcoin cash in a separate wallet that I own, but now what? Where does that forked bitcoin ABC come from, and what wallet should I put it in? Can it go in to the same hardware wallet as the Bitcoin Cash? Anyways, thank you all for being such a great community. [link] [comments]
