    Can we eradicate these buzzkills?

    Imagine how many people missed out on being bitcoin millionaires because some arrogant people with a "holier than thou" attitude (having convinced themselves that they're in this game for anything other than a sizeable profit) told them that they should save their money and stop pipedreaming...

    It's all good that you're trying to come off as someone with their feet planted solid on the ground. You might even think your "moral code" is correct, because you heard some stockbroker tell you that line before.

    But keep it to yourself.

    Meanwhile, those not so pretentious, or well off in the first place... will keep hyping the dream and speculate. Thank you. Now go ahead and reveal yourselves; tell me that I'm "in it for the wrong reasons" - if the "wrong reasons" is throwing something at the wall in the hopes that I become financially independent - without slaving away for 50 more years, then I'll happily be in it for the wrong reasons.

    If people are so stupid that they go bankrupt from speculative investments, then that is on THEM. Anyone with a modicum of common sense understands how this works, and doesn't need to be babied by elitist "know-it-alls" who are too proud to admit that they're hoping for moons and lambos.

    You will only have very few opportunities like these presented to you in life, to me Ripple is one of them, and that is why I took a chance. I could spend 500 bucks this year on lottery tickets, or I could spend 500 bucks to get 750 XRP right now.

    And guess what, at worst I lose some money I could've spent on an exotic vacation. I'd take that over kicking myself ten years down the line if XRP is at 10.000 USD, and I decided to spend 2000 dollars I'd put away on a bigger TV instead of XRP, because some pompous 17 year old arsehole was trying to be my armchar financial advisor.

    I just pushed a new update on A LIVING LEDGER including a new very helpful feature:

    It is now possible to see exactly which transactions a chosen address is doing live. Therefore, just click on an address (node) or search for a specific address. Hover addresses to highlight edges of the network that are part of this transactions.

    I hope you enjoy the new feature and am - like always - very curious about your feedback and suggestions :)

    Ripple Net, XRP & POS Systems

    While making a purchase with my debit card yesterday the thought ran through my mind.

    Verifone supplies 95% of POS systems in the United States. My thought: What if verifone and Ripple had a partnership where every terminal had Ripple software integrated. Furthermore if XRP was used to settle those transactions the volume would be through the roof.

    Also instead of waiting 2-3 days for transactions to clear you're payment would settle in a matter of seconds.

    Any thoughts?

    When do you think these prices will happen?

    BTC = $50,000 XRP = $20

    Which do you think is more likely to occur first. I know we're XRP bias here, but this is just supposed to be fun speculation/discussion.

    I, personally, think we're more likely to see a run up of BTC towards 50k by the end of the year with XRP running up shortly after. I just can't make up my mind if XRP will run up to $10 or shoot for $20.

    Call me crazy but I think there's another recession coming with my evidence being the recent sell off in the stock market , growing US debt , rise in interest rates and with some news about the gov't easing up on banking regulation (not sure if that one is true though)

    Question: What would happen to crypto as a whole and what do you think would happen to ripple?...

    Transfer of wealth.

    Who else suspects there will be a transfer of wealth soon? The US Dollar is in terrible shape due to inflation along side the federal reserve working as a debt currency. The launch of the Petro Yuan will change the power of the USD possibly producing hyperinflation(crash of the USD), while the dollar being the reserve payment of the world, could create a massive global economic crisis. Would this in any way set up Ripple (XRP) to be in a position of power being a digital asset trusted by banks, and grow in value along side gold and silver?

    Why isnt Ripple just simply developing a Ripple App to offer worldwide transfers? They have the biggest knowledge about their own product and the biggest interest in letting the xrp succeed.

    Could it be, they want to get banks and fis on bord first and the app would show them their own obselescence?
