    Bank Adoption impact on XRP - Let's work it out

    At this stage, we just want the variables... and whether these are known or speculative. I.e. all the parameters that would impact the demand at any point in time on XRP.

    After we have all those, we'll make an eqn. After that, we'll asign value ranges.. and come out with high and low price estimates.

    Parameters:

    1) Supply of XRP: Known - currently $39 BN

    2) Current USD Equivalent X-Border Transactions: Known - P2P 0.7Tr, P2B 5 Tr, B2B 18.5 Tr Total 24.2 TRILLION USD

    3) Bank Adoption %ge: Speculative

    4) Migration percentage to non-intermediary transfers i.e. use of XRapid: Speculative

    5) Number of Smaller banks requiring Intermediaries: Known 17000

    6) Number of Smaller banks willing to move to XRapid: Speculative

    7) Increase in Volume of X-Border Transactions as a result of XRapid Rollout: Speculative

    8) Percentage of XRP available in the liquidity pool: Known - From Exchange visible orders / wallet analysis

    9) Highest single XRP X-Border payment made in any 1 year: Speculative

    10) Amount of time taken for a full XRapid transaction: Known 3-6 seconds

    11) Ratio of XRP held permanently by banks vs. amount spot sourced on liquidity pools: Speculative

    12) Amount of XRP Held by FIs as a speculative asset / investment fund: Speculative Factor of (8)

    13) Liquidity per FIAT currency pairing: Speculative

    What else - and can any of the above be speculative parameters be further split into a mix of known and speculative parts?

    Daily Notional of X-Border Payments(2) *

    Percentage of Transferees' daily notional that will migrate to XRapid(3,4,5,6) *

    Currency Specific Liquidity Multiplier(13) *

    Increase in Volume of X-Border Transactions(7) *

    Highest Single Transaction liquidity multiplier(9) *

    (Amount of Time taken for each XRP transaction(10) / Number Seconds in a Day)

    All Divided by:

    Supply of XRP Available in Price affecting liquidity pool (1,8,11,12)

    Note - As each Currency has its own market and liquidity pool with XRP - then we'd have to factor this in -- and sum the above for each currency --- or average out and represent this by an add this factor on. Hence the Currency specific liquidity multiplier. e.g. when transferring from the US to Mexico, Argentina, BOlivia etc. there would have to be an excess of liquidity in the liquidity pool for each currency. That excess should not be counted once, but should be counted for each fiat pairing and then averaged out. so we can't just say 1tr usd X-border payments and lets add on 0.5 Tr excess.. we would have to add on that excess to each ccy/xrp pair as you never know which currency you're going to get large spontaneous demand in.

    EDIT The slower XRP transactions become, the higher the price -- according to the above equation. However there is a balance between adoption and price (as Banks will accept XRP price volatility within a 3 second period, but not over a 1 hour period)

    So I was super excited when they announced this. However, we are now almost at the end of March and still no news or updates from Coinsquare regarding this, not even in their support section.

    Did I miss something? Did Ripple put a hold on this? Did Coinbase jump in and signed a deal with Ripple to be the first major exchange to add it?

    What do you guys think?
