If you haven't already set up 2FA authenticator on EVERYTHING do it right now. There is no excuse to not employ 2FA. What happens to LTC when BTC fully adopts Segwit and Lightning? Posted: 04 Mar 2018 06:30 AM PST This is maybe a noob post, but nonetheless a valid point (I think). The main advantage of LTC over BTC is obviously cost and speed. BTC is currently (slowly) migrating across to Segwit and Lightning. This will obviously improve transaction speed and costs significantly. It is likely LTC will still be cheaper to use but by nowhere near as much. Is there a possibility that btc will leave ltc in the dirt when it upgrades? Meaning they wont be proportional and parallel in increase and decrease or wil they always go hand in hand? If charles lee said that btc is a store of value to buy houses and cars and ltc is for day to day transactions, does this mean litecoin will have a cap on its all time high? Meaning it wont reach 10k usd++ if it is meant to be attainable? I know it can be split into litoshis but so can btc with satoshis Why do i hear people say 10$ of btc is ore valuable than 10$ of ltc? Isnt it just like 10lbs of silver and 10lbs of gold. Same weight? Can one go most-in on litecoin without investing any in bitcoin? I know btc is the safety net, but does it mean ltc shares that net so the most-in option is okay? Obviously not all-in a single coin. Also will atomic swaps make this logic more practical? Will litecoin still have a card to play when the adas and iotas and enjins start showing their game (disclosure: i am looking into investing into ada as well) Finally why is it usually and either or with btc and eth investors.
